I don’t know the printing industry but back in 1975 computers lived in large air conditioned rooms and were attended by a priesthood of computer nerds.

@@harrymaciolek9629 I know which is why it’s so amazing that in the 1980’s we had home computers that fit on a desk! I remember in the early to mid 80’s my dad brought home our first computer it was awesome! Now we can carry a computer around in our pocket, our smartphones are basically computers. Back to the computers you mentioned the printer paper back then was huge my Grandpa had a lot of it and he let us grandkids use it to draw or write on. The history of technology is interesting going all the back to the first analog computer the abacus 🧮 or the history of books the earliest known copies that exist are on clay tablets and now we use digital tablets to read books it’s like it came full circle.
