I tried the Hearach at a whisky festival recently and quite liked it: it is sweet and "smooth" with little smokiness. Compared to other new distilleries I would not put it above Torabhaig AG or Ardnamurchan AD/. I did not try a pure Bourbon Raasay but those I tasted had too much showy wine flavours.
