Macbook Air M1 was not mentioned. Would you consider this a good lappy to use?
Same here, looking to buy one for serato. Does it work efficiently with stems?
Also look and see what many professional djs use, they use MacBook pros,, not all of em, but most that use software.
My previous laptop was Lenovo IdeaPad 5, (IdeaPad 5 14 FHD,14",AMD Ryzen 5 5500U,16GB,512GB SSD,W10) and i say its nonsense to use it like a djjing laptop, because big latency peaks. Same problems with Lenovo flex (IdeaPad Flex 5 14ALC05 FHD,14",AMD Ryzen 5 5500U,16GB,512GB SSD,W10), but Ideapad 5 performs little bit better. Maybee would better choice use intel version. I currently prefer macbook air with M1 chip.
@@naveenkaushik9457 bhaiya konsa laptop achha hoga doing ke liye
i have alienware laptops and they are great. keep away from AMD And macs. this is my advice
I'm no computer wiz or anything but I've used MacBook pros with serato for years, works really well..for my software anyway.
@dav3la-soul916 they do work great but windows is way much better and faster. Plus u can upgrade windows but very hard for macs
What about hardware?? Im upgrading my laptop and Idk what to get. I just wanna DJ and run stems
This is all useless. Not one of these videos talks about what live music performers would actually care about which is how easy it is to interface with the USB Cs or thunderbolt ports, which ones are good for plugging in audio peripherals vs which ones need dongles that introduce audio or other interfacing issues, which laptops might introduce incompatibility issues between the built-in audio drivers vs the audio drivers you have to install in order to run your external sound card, which laptops have bloatware that you need to optimise or remove before it'll reliably and stably run a 2 hr live show, all that sort of shit.
Why not Lenovo Yoga? It also has a touchscreen and you could fold it to make screen to be in front of you and keyboard on the back.
I think nobody actually use keyboard whilst playing a DJ set
