I was wondering why Calenhad would leave Gwaren as the seat of a teyrnir given its location but then it hit me: the reason is its location. He didn't want to send troops through the Brecilian Passage and/or across the sea so he saved Gwaren for last and then decided that two teyrnirs is fine and Gwaren can keep theirs because he's that generous. Good video. The banner at Skyhold during the Knight section was a nice touch.
Nice video! I did not know that Teyrn is a title of nobility and a quite high one aswell. I thought it means more like right hand of the King. Well explained and the summary at the end was also great! I'm hyped for your next video!

The explanation is appreciated, I always equated the titles to real world ones so bann==count and Arl==Duke, but Teyrn always stumped me as to what they would be, but now it makes sense
Glad to hear my video helped 😄 I've seen many people say different things but the most common comparison I've seen is: Bann = Baron Arl = Earn or Count Teyrn = Duke I considered including this in my video but then I realised I don't actually know that much about the real life titles, and couldn't be bothered to research them thoroughly either haha
Also, the Teyrn Cousland (the one who owned the title during the battle) helped Sophia Dryden when the King Arland atacked them, throughout the revelion against the crown. In Dragon Age Origins, we learn about it whe we visit the Soldier's Peak.
