This was relaxing to witness. It makes you appreciate the craftsmanship process. One can also relish in the idea of knowing this kind of tool was prized in another time where considerable effort was put into writing versus many social media sites where anonymous can take to type/write about whatever what so chooses or even indirectly influenced by the last 3 months of whatever free media the consumer was consuming or was put in front of.

Maybe, if you can get your hands on a vintage fountain pen with a broken housing, then you can try to make a new wood housing for it, using the old nib, feed, section and filling mechanism
Have you even worked with boxwood? It is my favorite wood type
I only work in a way that I am good at.
It doesn't work the way you said.
Boxwood is a good wood, but the color is not attractive.
So I don't make pens out of boxwood.

Every time I drill African black wood it splits on me. Should I drill slower or faster? I’ve been trying to learn your techniques over the years. I really admire your creativity and craftsmanship
A good drill bit should be used.
The drill bit must be in good condition.
You have to do it very slowly.
Apply a little lubricating oil and work.
I hope my advice will help you.
Looks very nice. I hope it’s better than my Waterman. It wasn’t cheap, but it is crap.
There is no comparison between ready-made factory products and handmade works.
No one is better or worse,
There is a judgment and choice according to the user's personality.

Amazing work! Could you please tell me what magic oil you use to give the African Blackwood such a gorgeous shine?
I'm trying to make bagpipe parts out of Blackwood but I cannot find a good, shiny finish for it.
A friend of mine uses a self-made finishing agent.
It is made by appropriately mixing polish, honeycomb beeswax, and coating agents.

I’m new to wood working and I do it as a class in school and I was looking to make a fountain pen but it’s not apart of any kits my instructor has is there anywhere to get reasonable quality parts for not majorly expensive prices because I’ve had trouble finding parts especially the metal barrel to go into the wood
