Featured in Episode 34 (Part 2 of 2 parts): Guitarist-singer-producer Sheldon Reynolds, who for 14 years was a member of the legendary funk-R&B band Earth, Wind and Fire, and among his other credits was also a member of the Commodores and funk group Sun. Reynolds was nominated for a Grammy for Earth, Wind and Fire’s single “Sunday Morning.” Also to Reynolds’ credits is his work as writer and performer with well-known artists such as Millie Jackson, Chicago, Kirk Whalum, the Pointer Sisters, Stephanie Mills, Paula Abdul and Brian Culbertson.
He also produced the all-star Jimi Hendrix tribute album Power of Soul, and was once married to Hendrix’s adopted sister Janie Hendrix. In addition, Reynolds contributed to the soundtrack for the movie Glory, theme music for the TV shows “Who’s The Boss” and “Chicago Hope,” and wrote music and appeared in “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.” He is also an avid photographer and a contributing editor to Astronomy magazine.

I really injoy that interview with Sheldon Reynolds,I always wonder what happen to him because I haven't seen him Playing anymore. Now I no, I was sorry to hear he was dealing with Parkinson. I wish Sheldon and his family the best. Longtime fan of Sheldon Reynolds, and EWF!

So......………..that explains why Sonny Emory, Sheldon Reynolds, Mike McKnight, Morris Pleasure, and David R. were let go!! I thought these guys had grown tired of playing EW&F music...…..WOW!!!
Mr interviewer, when you interview someone, the WORST thing you can do is have pregnant pauses between questions. It creates awkward silence and makes the interviewee feel like he or she has to say something just to say something. Have your written questions prepared and do follow-up questions to their remarks, but it's a bad look for you with the pauses.
All questions were prepared ahead of time. He had poor audio, his voice tended to trail off and was often unsure of when he was done speaking and oftentimes he cut answers short on his own. So it was challenging that way for many reasons. If you watch most interviews on this channel you will see the difference. Maybe one day I will go back into this one and more tightly edit the pauses.
