This channel is all about snipers, sniping and FPS shooters! I mainly do Battlefield 2042 Sniping but I also play Call of Duty, Battlefront and I love Battle Royale. Stod something worth mentioning for Ultrawide monitors:
You can adjust the HUD+minimap to be closer to the center of the screen. I love the extended peripheral range of ultrawide but was struggling to see the minimap easily, these settings allowed it to move towards the center and greatly improved map readability in firefights.

@Stodeh It might not be a problem for you but turning FidelityFX CAS on helped sharpen up my game a little bit visually without affecting performance. With this off, my game looked kinda blurry even though i had all motion blur off and filmic grain off

texture filtering is like anti-aliasing for things at a distance. turning it up should make ranged sniping better and just make the game clearer overall. it really depends on the game for how much it effects the graphics. the setting is also known as antisotropic filtering 👍
the on+boost makes sure your GPU doesn't go to 100% utlization.
Input lag is increased at 100% gpu usage, as per BattleNonSense video.

i would have thought if they added FSR to the game it woutd be 2.0 or 2.1, maybe when RDNA3 and FSR 3.0 come out they will add that in a later patch.

On pc, once you are happy with your settings, try to find the config file on your disk and make a backup of that file

RTX 3050, I7 7700 and 16GB or RAM, why do I only have 60 FPS? Is it because of the beta ?
Vsync off ist definetely the way to go for most people. However, there is much more to the story if you compare input delays when it comes to adaptive refresh rates such as gsync and freesync. Vsync on is almost necessary if you want to get rid of all tearing, whilst not adding substential input delay when the fps cap is below your refresh rate. I recommend the research done by Battle(non)Sense and Optimum Tech to get the full picture. Also the Low Latency Modes in the Nvidia Control Panel are worth a mention as well.
yep. i have vsync on with a 237 fps cap in most games. looks and feels great

@@ivanbluvelasco4425 yeah same for me, my VRAM usage crosses red bar. The other apps are using more VRAM than MW2. I checked background apps but I didn't see anything downloading or any app opened. I don't have any idea about this. Any help would be appreciated
most people are gonna prefer 120 fov? what? That fisheye lens effect from 120 makes me want to barf and gives a huge headache. I don't know how any of you people play with it that high. Also it makes everything look so much farther away, you can hardly see anybody. This is nuts

Despite the disadvantages I set aim curve to linear as opposed to dynamic, and aim assist to precision as opposed to default, all so I don't get used to the strong magnetic COD style aim assist and dynamic sensitivity, therefore ruining my muscle memory for battlefield 2042s different and weaker aim assist mechanic. Though there still seems to be acceleration with hip-fire aiming, which is annoying.

Yea console is just not the way these past years when it comes to cod.You get the minimum advanced settings.PC gets everything and just runs overall better depending on your graphics card.That is why I'm moving over to PC just for COD and other fps shooting games like battlefield 4 that I enjoyed

Put NVIDIA Low Latency Mode on On+Boost if you can it does nothing but make your game smoother.
What I will never understand and this is MY personal preference but why in the hell do so many game devs insist that a shaky ass camera is up in default? The amount of annoyance and even motion sickness is so distracting in a game as fast as COD and no, don't tell me its "realistic" no its not @_@

Just a heads up FSR 1.0 is just a spatial upscaler and does not use AI. Its basically the same thing as Nvidia image scaling. They both look significantly worse than DLSS.

so i build a gaming pc worthy 3k for playing video games on low, never understood that, i mean come on every round its not a final of world champion, where is the "enjoy videogames"? its like gone....low settings for gain every little fps and % for killing someone, sounds like a tryhard, all people doing this from fortnite and so on, disgusting.
I kinda agree!! Although Stodeh’s guide is to get max fps and visual gaming advantage I got a 5900x with 6800xt and I love playing this games in my 2K 165hz monitor as realistic as they can be. But for people with not as powerful PC as ours his guide is good.
Glad I’m not the only one thinking that. These guys put out vids when the game trailers come talking about the graphics then immediately set everything to medium or low as soon as the game is out for ultimate sweat. The devs should just start putting a “sweaty mode” in the settings where it just reduces every player to a big square, removes all textures, and replaces the gun with just a crosshair in the center of the screen so it can run at 600fps. It might look like an Atari game but just think about *how fast it will go*… 🙄
