    I WISH the WNBA players would put egos aside & let the league LOWER THE RIMS to 9 Feet...

    • @jimkoll52
      @jimkoll52 8 місяців тому +3

      I disagree. The fact that the men are dunk in the ball all the time has eliminated the need for widespread basketball skills and is hurting the NBA and now the men's NCAA. The reason why college women's basketball is popular is its skill based and team orientated

    • @Lee-tq4si
      @Lee-tq4si 8 місяців тому +5

      @@jimkoll52 I think it’s a mistake for women to keep rejecting lower rims. Women can jump, just not as high as men. That’s why in volleyball, for example, the nets for women are almost a foot lower. Many people don’t realize that. I’d bet if women basketballers played with lower rims, they would love it - and so would fans.

      No, what's hurting the NBA is the rules changes have made it easier than ever to score. As someone who has watched ball since 1980, I literally have to turn off the tv when I see guys take 5 steps and don't get called for traveling, get rewarded for flopping, etc., etc. The latest all star game was 211-186. THAT is why ratings are going down. That was embarrassing.

    • @KEVIN27GAMING

    • @user-ng4nn4zw6r
      @user-ng4nn4zw6r 8 місяців тому

      No! Do not lower the rims. They already have a smaller ball. Are we going to lower the rims also for elementary and middle school competitors? How about shortening the length of the basketball court while you're at it. Maybe allow 7 or 8 fouls per player, eliminate the traveling call and out-of-bounds lines. How else can we be of assistance to you, ma'am. Free throws worth 2 points and three pointers worth points? Sure! Would you like a foot massage during halftime? We are here to accommodate you in whatever way you feel it to be necessary? As a matter of fact, we will no longer allow biological males to hold sporting records. Girl power!!! Yaaaaaaaay!

      I don’t like the dunking in the NBA cause it’s mostly in wide open lanes with guys scared to get dunked on.

      NFL preseason is more intense than the NBA regular season.
      But women’s college ball is the same as the WNBA but not as athletic - why are those ratings up - while the WNBA ratings while up are not near the women’s college ratings.
