I'm glad you feel that way. I retired as a Lieutenant from a major Metropolitan department. I missed a lot of my kids growing up especially after 9/11 and after my oldest came home from his college graduation with an accounting degree and told me he was already accepted to the police academy, I didn't feel that way. You see 👀 a lot that you can never unsee and I still see it. I begged my son to find something else. That job will never love you back, especially in today's shit world and I don't want any of my children to experience it.

After they had a long lunch break they went back on duty after drinking all the beer n hard liquor in the house. You were off the clock bro n they tried to shame you.
