  • We stayed 2 nights at the Ayers Rock Camp ground. We did a Fantastic Sunset viewing over The Rock, be sure to take some Wine and Cheese! The walk around the Rock takes a few hours, try and start early morning as it starts to get a bit warm around 11am even in Winter.
We recommend 2 to 3 nights if you would like to walk around the Rock and Kata Tjuta. Although we didn't walk around Kata Tjuta on this trip we did the Valley of the winds walk on a previous trip and highly recommend that.
Grab something cold and sit back and Enjoy!
    Cheers
    Mick and Ange

Hello! beautiful video! We're in Sydney heading to Uluru later this month. I watched your video and was interested in the question: do you now need to obtain some kind of permission to film video from a quadcopter in Uluru, or can you fly freely?

Hi, Thanks for watching 😃 flying a drone isn't permitted around Uluru as there is an airport nearby.
      Thanks for your question 👍

Hi again, I have just re read your question. You do not need any permission to film or take photos from an aircraft or helicopter of Uluru.
      Enjoy your trip!
