It might seem like it's not really good, but i have a lot of skin, and it's long, wrinkles up, and causes a lot of infections. So i haven't done anything and lived with it cause i don't want to be stigmatized.
Fair play to you Doc for providing authentic info on a topic or two often avoided. I had been curious as to what vaginal rejuvenation could be! One observation--you used the word 'creepy' once or twice which seems unprofessionally judgmental; who's to say why people choose to have any of these procedures, could be medically warranted. Still--kudos to you.
Hacking down Sherwood Forest reduces sexual stimulation for your partner, speaking from my personal experience as a woman. Leave the forest, trimming the undergrowth doesn't change the length of the tree. It just makes what you have more visible to yourself and yourself only. The one who loves you will love the forest and the tree in all their glory no matter what.
Very informative my Wife has been having Quite a bit of problems as of late . Incontinence at night ,no sex due to pain ,we are going to the urologist soon have an appointment now I have a little direction thanks to your video . Thanks Dr Youn
There are urology/gynecology docs that are trained in both specialties. There are also some great sexual medicine doctors and clinics. If you dont get help or arent taken seriously in your upcoming appt, go to a different doctor.
Check her hormones levels, all three reproductive hormones. They do affect urine / bladder muscle control therefore incontinence, vaginal dryness, pain, pimple/cysts, etc. so ouch till you get hormones sorted even in perimenopausal stage. Just saying.
I think labiaplasty is as relavent if not more so than breast enlargement. I'm saving up for my labiaplasty currently. I've had a dysmorphia since about fifth grade, I'm 45 now. Not just asethetically but function, this includes chronic UTI's. Three vaginal births certainly did not help. My husband is supportive only bc I'm adament about it but he doesn't see anything wrong with me. But he doesn't have to feel what I feel with everything I do. I'd also like a breast reduction as well. I dunno. I typically respect your views yet if you can justify breast augmentation then a labiaplasty is absolutely realistic tho I DO agree the adult industry puts crazy expectations on women. I'd also suggest that if one's partner is the primary reason for one to change their body for any reason on an aesthetic basis, maybe save your $ & find a new person. 🤷🏻♀️
It's supposed to look like a oyster . And no one should see it but you n your boo. Beyonce totally flashed her whoha while on stage and now I have seen it. hmmm she is literally perfect everywhere.
Why is it that, as a doctor, you cannot use medical terminology? I notice this with medical providers as well. They say things like, "down there," or "downstairs," or "in that area". When coming from a doctor or other medical professional, it's strange because it's as if you're stigmatizing the actual names of female anatomy as well as refraining from educating women. This is why so many women refer to their labia as their vagina (as seen on shows like Botched). They don't know their own anatomy.
@@girrl88 This is a medical doctor posting a video about medical procedures. It is educational in nature. There is no reason he cannot use medical terminology. He isn't cussing or using vulgarity or slang, as those are the things that YT frowns upon. Using correct language about our body parts is not wrong, illegal, bad or negative. It feeds into women being unable to describe their own body parts. Even adult women. If a medical doctor cannot describe our body parts, how are we as women ever going to get comfortable discussing them with our doctors...
A channel I watch had a video demonetized for saying butthole. A history channel had to reupload a video because they had to blur Renaissance art. This very likely is a UA-cam thing. Or maybe he just didn't want to say labia or scrotum 30 different times in the video, because he 100% does use the medical terms multiple times in the video along with the euphemisms. This type of language isn't stigmatizing, it's making it sound more like a casual conversation than a medical conference.
@@ice.cream.kraken I know that YT has cracked down on things like showing blood, which is really ridiculous. The word "butthole" also sounds like it could be a potential slur. I've seen the blurring that you're talking about on other channels and even on TV when it comes to pieces of art. When did we become such fragile human beings? As children in grammar school we would visit the museum and see these pieces of artwork and in biology classes we would routinely see blood, all before we ever turned 18. What is happening?
Dr.Youn I don't understand. It seems to me like you're sexualizing what your fellow doctors do. I understand that they're old men doing surgery on women but how does that make it creepy? I would think especially as a doctor that's a man that does surgeries on women that you would be the first to express that women can be comfortable with a doctor that's a man. Cuz they are a professional just doing their job. I'm honestly a bit disappointed cuz I'm not a doctor but just within my own life I try to reassure women that they don't have to fear having a male doctor but your encouraging that fear
I sit here watching this while unconsciously my knees are pressing together harder and harder! No way, no how!
You are amazing!!!! You're honesty, supersedes everything!!!
I always enjoy watching your videos, your one Awesome teacher, love your honesty and your views
I'm not shuddering and saying ugh over and over, you are.
I used to want labia plasty 20 yrs ago. Little did i know menopause would shrink it almost to nothing.
😂
Basically your body give you free labia plasty 😂
Really?
Love that it's called jeckling. Imagine coming home and see you're husband with a contraption device for his new nighttime routine
Thank you for your informative and educational videos ❤
I have to say, this bordered on standup. I learned a lot but laughed all the way through it.

I hear you. It wasn’t until I got everything waxed that I took a look at the biology and realized why I got so many skin tags and folliculitis.
I really like how you tell the facts as it is ❤ good work 👍 doctor
😂 it’s creepy 😂 Dr Youn looks so uncomfortable
I have Lichen sclerosis in my vulva and I get the Mona Lisa every year inside and out. I wish I started sooner.
What is this?
I love "It just seems creepy!" When referring to old men talking g about labiaplast.

Thank you so much dr. Anthony Youn....for the "" subject"" this is new for me. Curitiba/Brazil...here 6.12 p.m.
Yes DR it is very creepy.Unless it's really needed which is probably true in some cases.
Well, there are a few things i don't need to put on my to-do list

At a naturist resort, seeing everyone bare, a woman who was covered in tunic tees, had vaginal skin hanging below the shirt. I had no idea.
😊
I jelk everyday, sometimes twice a day but my junk has not gotten longer! But then again, I can only do it consistently for 10 minutes max!😅
Rule 1, never have plastic surgery for anybody else.
How does a doctor feel its ok to do baby botox is it ethical to do.
It's supposed to look like a oyster . And no one should see it but you n your boo. Beyonce totally flashed her whoha while on stage and now I have seen it. hmmm she is literally perfect everywhere.
Different labia..observe art show by Judy Chicago- all ceramic labia… who would have thought.
Massive man bush 😂
I cannot imagine burning my vaginal wall! I’ve had scapulas that were too warm that hurt like hell. LORD
Great jokes!!!
🧟ow!
Is labiaplasty the same surgery as making the inside of the vagina tighter?
NO the labia is on the outside of the vaginia, part of the vulva, not inside.
Mental note get a young doc! Lol
