Selina, I can't tell you how relevant this is to me at the moment. I have food memories by the truck load, since I was 5. My mum was Irish, she qualified as a Cordon Bleu cook in the 70's. Her dad, Grandad Grimes' garden was full of parsley and carrots! And my Dad's family were ex-pats from India. So hence the Indian food memories. His dad was a civil servant there. And my Nan was a great Indian recipe cook. Her Rus Gola's were to die for! So that's why I connect so passionately on my IG page. I don't think there are enough international cookbooks out there with strong storylines running through. xx
