We parked our van, Moglia, in Dakar to live and work on Ngor Island for a while.
What was supposed to be a week turned into nearly two months.
We share our island life with you, encompassing everything that comes with it.
A fantastic time, a challenging time, wonderful experiences, and frayed nerves.
Ngor Island sits just off Dakar and serves as a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of Senegal's capital.
It's also home to two of Senegal's best waves, the Ngor right and left.
But colorful, hospitable Senegal also faces its challenges - too much waste and sewage from a growing population and industry.
Get ready for another real travel episode.
