How UPSC changed my life? | Failure, Depression and Success

- A lot of you keep asking me in the comments section why I didn't join the civil services despite clearing the exam. So here's my story. This isn't just about the service; it's about how I panicked, completely lost it, cried, and overcame the most depressing phase of my life.

UPSC Civil Services Exam is one of the most prestigious exams in the country. It has three parts, the Prelims exam, the Main exam and the Personality test, which you need to clear in order to become an IAS or IPS officer. All other Group A services of the Government of India recruit people through the UPSC Civil services exam itself and because of this, there is a lot of competition in this exam. Hence, your UPSC preparation should be strategic, informed and well planned.
Your UPSC preparation should not be based on blind adherence to any program. Rather you should give a thought about how your are preparing. The best way to go forward is to study the blogs and tips given by previous year toppers about how to go about UPSC CSE for all three stages of UPSC Prelims, UPSC Mains and the Personality test also known as the UPSC Interview, and then make your UPSC preparation strategy accordingly.
Doing static subjects like polity, economy, environment, geography and history for your UPSC preparation is a solid bet to increase your chances of clearing this exam. But this must all be supplemented by current affairs for best effect.

Filed a case in central administrative tribunal won in 2014
But why ?
@@yashuaggarwal2401 dopt said an irs has to lift a trunk weighing 10 kg which she can't because she had sclerosis.
But there were no rules given in the physical requirements of an irs. It's waa a way to stop her from getting job as an IRS
There are many rules regarding selection procedure and physical requirements for job by UPSC.
Ex- if you have diabetes you might not get selected a case pending in court
There are many cases pending in the courts we only know about a few
I have met a few UPSC aspirants who failed and I have seen them breaking down and eventually turning into arrogant and egoistic human beings to mask their pain. That made me quite demotivated to appear for this exam.But you are really an inspiration. You fit perfect to the quote that, a true teacher is like a candle which consumes itself to light the way for others.

Hello sir. I can totally relate with you, getting rank and recommended for service but not allocated one. Only difference being UPSC CSE vs UPSC NDA. Went through similar rough phase. Cried throughout the video. Maybe I needed to hear this to let go off my emotions. Have been trying to clear UPSC since five years but nahi ho raha hai. I put in so much effort but still something always goes wrong and it’s so frustrating and painful. This year my GS went well but I am failing CSAT by just one mark! Now 2025 is my last attempt and I am already very nervous and afraid to even start the preparation!

What is the significance of the most valued article (21) of the constitution when the petitionor is not getting justice at right time..this shows that fundamental rights are mostly in document and in reality of very less use

Hello sir ,I am sonali singh ,i am also upsc aspirant and I give my3rd attempt in this year. ,last 2attempt not clear prelims and in this attempt result is not coming out ,and I am not sure about of clearing prelims or not ,paper are going good but I don't know🤷 what happened ,if I clear prelims ,can you and your team guide me for mains, because I have no personal guidence initially ,I think that's what I am not selected ,but I have one problem again I am not effort fee in present time ,if you have any policy of mentor scholarship please contact with me 🙂😌
