Knit companion is a game changer for me. I get bored (ADHD kicking in) and tend to cast on things to break the slump on a project. Then I get excited about the new project. When I am ready to return to previous project, knit companion remembers exactly where I left off. It holds my line marker and the line counter until I am ready to pick it up again.
I really need this as well cos I do the same thing (also ADHD-related lol) but I keep a journal instead with very detailed notes on my projects so even when I do put them down because I get excite-y about a new project, I know where I've left off lol
Hello fellow knitter and fellow runner! I'm new to your channel and this is my very first video! I want to watch your other podcasts now because I really like listening to you talk about your projects and your energy is calming! I'm also an avid crafter and runner but I don't run anymore these days because I've extremely severe hip dysplasia. At my ripe ol' age of 32, I have had two hip surgeries that have put me down for the count on my high-impact sports and I'm not allowed to do them anymore (not just yet, anyways). My doctor has said, however, that since I'm healing so quickly and so well that there is great promise for me to return to running one day and I look forward to that day SO much, I've been running since I was about age 7 and I've always ALWAYS loved the dopamine hit I get after a good run lol I miss that feel good feeling the most Now I get my dopamine and seratonin from finishing crochet/knit/sewing/beadwork projects and for now (until I can run again) that does well for me lol Anywho! Lovely to catch a podcast of yours and I hope to watch omre soon! Cheers from Virginia, USA ❤
Thanks for sharing! I’m sorry to hear about your hip! Hopefully you can find a place for running in your life again even if it’s not in the same capacity it once was.
I absolutely love your energy and your personality! As a fellow runner, I would love to hear about your running journey and what your upcoming plans are in terms of running 😊.
also i own that sari nordlund book and it was so nice to see a project in a colour option. im enchanted by so many of the patterns in that book i have the Achelios tank on my knit list but alas i also need to clear some needles first
i am feeling so spoiled as a southern Ontario girly with all the yarn store name drops. thanks so much but also my wallet is crying.might feel kinda niche but i wanted to say thank you cause if youre every wondering if anyone cares about that info just know someone does! this gal
