What you are seeing in the video will be coming to Star Citizen in patch 3.22 and CIG created its own Gen12 which is far better then DX12, plus engine will also be using Vulkan as well to reduce the stress on your PC and increase performance. Currently us backers are playing Star Citizen using patch 3.21 and we can hardly wait for this patch to be released to us. Furthermore, for those who are wondering I am play the game on my PC with i7 6850k, 32GB RAM, M.2 1TB with a GTX 1070 and the game runs fine for me. However, I wish I have a better PC like my friends who get far better graphics then I do. So if you decide to join our family I suggest you run the game on a SSD or M.2 and make sure you have at least 32GB RAM.
