Again I’m absolutely in support of separation of church and state and believe it’s best to let everyone choose what to believe and not be forced, but I always get curious when someone makes an absolute statement about the Bible that I’ve never heard before. This video in particular has a lot of generalizations in it and trigger words to promote fear so I’m skeptical of it, just like I was skeptical when conservatives made a fear campaign of the “green new deal”. I’m familiar with both those passages, the one about Caesar was in reference to a question of if they should pay taxes if i remember correctly, I guess I dont see the clear connection there. Again I’m absolutely in support of separation of church and state and believe it’s best to let everyone choose what to believe and not be forced, but I always get curious when someone makes an absolute statement about the Bible that I’ve never heard before. This video in particular has a lot of generalizations in it and trigger words to promote fear so I’m skeptical of it, just like I was skeptical when conservatives made a fear campaign of the “green new deal”. Jesus got angry because people were turning the house of God into a “house of thieves” for their own selfish gain, I guess I don’t exactly see that saying that Jesus supports separation of church and state either.
