How It’s Judged:
1 heat of 8 athletes in a 20-minute jam session, with approximately 5 runs per athlete. Riders are ranked 1-8 based on overall impression. Judges will rank competitors throughout the contest.

Agreed. Slopestyle and pipe are boring now, it's just a bunch of dudes doing the same tricks over and over. Gets very repetitive.

This is my favorite event... These guys were throwing down and landing EVERYTHING. If they were to make this into a metals event, they would need to change the scoring though to judge best run/best 3 runs type of deal.
I loved that Zeb Powell fall and pop up. So much style.

Please do not ever stop doing this. There should be a completely separate competition for knuckles and rails and stuff.

This was honestly the most fun and jaw dropping snowboard comp I’ve seen in a long time. It might not have the stature of the bigger events, but the technicality, creativity and sheer fun on display was absolutely amazing. Congrats to all involved, riders, crew, everyone.

100% i love Knuckle huck events they get so creative!
I think after a while the normal 3 comps get stale. This really freshens things up because it rewards style not skill.
I didn't know this existed. These are the most impressive tricks I have seen out of ANY X Games event

Marcus literally blows our minds every single time this dude is incredible.
Zeb has such a dope style to his riding, kids going places for sure.
Ryo Aizawa as a ramp for Rene Rinnekangas was so fun and creative!
Rene is a creative and fun snowboarder to watch! im a fan after seeing him last year and this year
i cant think of any other sport where a competitor helps their competition for the fun of it
So so sick, can't believe the style and positive attitude around this event. Zeb deserved that win, anyone arguing for a different result have to remember 1) This event is cumulative impression, Zeb nailed every hit like a bo$$, 2) Variety - he stomped everything from big spins to the psycho creative stuff. Cleveland had the biggest single hit but he didn't mix it up as much and bailed on 2 out of 5 hits...

This was the best one in my opinion. If whats done prior to knuckle should count or not i have no opinion on doe. Also, the crowd probably couldn't see that part. It was amazing :D
Luftbubblan that is why the scoring system is a joke... we would have known if that counted. Also they normally count the Pre trick build up if it is all one motion like the spinning during takeoffs in ski events.
Such a great event, so fun to watch and definitely a highlight of the entire week. The skiing knucklehuck was super boring though - wasn't even close to same level as the boarders
Markus deserved the win imo. Three absolutely mind melting tricks all super creative. Zeb was cool and unique, but idk just my opinion. 1. Markus. 2. Zeb. 3. Fridge

Knuckle huck is definitely my new favorite X Games event!
Used to be a big extreme sports fan growing up. That died off after a while, felt like the game last the year to year innovation that had me glue to it. Big fan of this event after finding it this year, had to come back and watch this event from the previous year and this is insane. Love it.

Honestly this event is great and everything snowboarding is about. Seeing the top tier tricks is great but leaves something to be desired
Marcus Klevland showed you the future of this sport with that last trick. It's going to be tricking off the start of the knuckle, nollie the end of the knuckle, and huge trick off the drop. This is going to look insane in a few years and I can't wait!
