- Buckeye Hot Springs located in Bridgeport California and is a 9 mile out and back trail that will lead you to the majestic Buckeye Hot springs. Winter in my opinion is the best time to do it for those who are adventurous and prepared.
This video and links below will give you the information you need to get there safely and make sure you have the best day EVER!

It’s on my list now thank you for sharing and all the info
You’d absolutely love it be prepared to get in the water 👍🏼
Is driving the trail, like in the summer, not an option in the winter? Doesn't look like that much snow, a good 4x4 could handle it I think.
It's not with a car truck, but you can take snowmobile out there. The speed is restricted to 15 miles an hour and there is tons of snow up there. It's just when I went up. It was very patchy, but it's such a great hike. highly recommended. It's such a beautiful area. If you hit it up you should've let us know how you did 👍
Wow! So beautiful. Awesome you're sitting in the hot springs with the snow around you. I'm assuming you have to bring a towel too😉 Thnx so much for sharing
Yes a towel is a good idea the hot spring was toasty and you need to dry off quick when you get out, it was 12 degrees when I made my exit and my bandana actually froze to my head by the time I got my clothes back on 😁 It really is a beautiful place not far off the 395. It is easily accessible summer and fall with a light duty truck but in the winter its another level of beautiful.
very nice!
It was such an amazing day and hike you need to plan an outing out there next winter for sure!
wow that looks amazing
It was I can’t wait to Visit it again 👍🏼 hope you get a chance to get out there soon
For the entire family ?? Honestly crowds are a turn off keep the wild
Wild
Hello Mike and thank you for your thoughts. Every family is different my two boys are grown and on there own now but as they were growing up They went everywhere with me, from about the age of 4. To this day they continue to reminisce and thank their mom and I for bringing them along on our outings and exposing them to the beauty and frailty of all of Gods creations. Inspiring them to practice and inspire others to being good stewards to the wilds of the world. In short I agree with you crowds can be a drag at times, and ABSOLUTELY keep the wild, wild👍🏼
As good stewards we always have and still do practice pack it in pack it out plus one as our family’s leave no trace practice. Keeping the Wild Wild 🌈 🙏🏻
Wow! How long was the hike out and back in total?
About 14 miles out and back it’s a comfortable hike just plan yourself around the weather as it gets extremely up there and also recommend starting the day early it’s so worth it though such a beautiful hike and the reward at the end tremendous I hope that helps keep us posted let us know how it goes if you end up doing it
safe travels ☃️
