    • Closing thoughts:
o On wrist - Silky smooth, low-slug wear, looks and feels as close to perfect as I’ve ever experienced
 The fit and finish are truly impressive
o Model Variants - Check the links in the description for full options and availability
o Comparable models - This diver is right up there with some of the finest microbrand divers available, if you swapped the movement to an ETA, Sellita, or LJP movement and the logo to a Swiss or German Made brand, even a new one without at extended heritage, I could see this watch easily selling in the $2500 range
     That’s how well it’s executed
o Bottom-line - This achieves what many would consider a luxury level of fit & finish, in a slim and timeless design that balance its classic inspirations with unique modern touches
 The Wise Adamascus AD8 should be right up there with Christopher Ward’s C60 Trident when discussing objective value-for-money beyond brand cache

Almost bought an AD8 on a few different occations, but I decided to wait until they had a bracelet. And then they decide to polish it.. Back to waiting.

Of course the bracelet has some polish. A fully polished watch head paired with a fully brushed bracelet would look weird and totally mismatched.

@SB-Kiwi Yes with a fully polished head the bracelet would have to be fully polished.
That's why I think a little brushing on the head and the center links on the bracelet being brushed thus would be fantastic.
I wouldn't hold my breath for that though. Probably not going to happen.
Wise don't seem to be into brushing. They like the shiny bling look. Nice watches though.

I recently purchased the LE 15th Anniversary Gold Filled dial Wise and it is amazing!!!! The polishing is similar to my VC 56 and GS Snowflake 😊😊😊😊 Wise watches are undervalued

Absolutely one of the best MB out there, if not the best, considering hole pacage, quality, materials, price and delivery 😇👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻.. they have a very nice watch line up, they are missing a titanium watch and a integrated braclet watch..
And best of all, they doesn’t use KS campaines, so you have to wait 6-8 months..

They are going to release the 3rd generation of their 300m diver in titanium soon but it's a bit on the larger side.

Looking at it with that 904l bracelet it hits me that if the watch head had a little brushing on it and the center links on the bracelet were brushed this watch would be absolutely stunning.
I would buy it in a heartbeat.
Right now it is just too shiny for me. I would stick with the leather strap for now.

Hey dude - love the channel. long time viewer, first time caller. Your low light transitions are the best and idt anyone else does them. I have been shopping for a everyday style dive watch with fully lumed bezel with full graduations/indexing under 1k. Thought Traska would be my next buy, considered Halios, but the fear of delimitation of their sapphire bezel combined with the black variant having white outlines of indices oh and wild wait times have me looking else where.
Having had hands on time with this and the Traska Freediver v5, these seem very similar spec wise and size, but, which would you recommend for overall quality in finishing, lume, bezel, and bracelet? much love from Europe. Cheers!

@@robertwilliams1286 Between the two, they're some of the very best within the space, so you can't really go wrong with either. There are trade-offs to each, mainly the brilliant 904L vs. the duller but hard coated 316L. I would say to just pick the one with the design you find the most preferable.

@@AverageBros thanks for the response. which do you think has the better lume application and bezel?
I don't mind the blingy 904. I think the case design is cool and dial bring some extra seasoning to the look while if I were looking for a black dial watch in general I like the lacquered look. The case is no fuss with brushing and bevels.

Would be a homerun if it was brushed lugs and bracelet. For a new diver it’s weird they didn’t do this, I would be more than a majority of consumers that look at Wise want brushed.

Beautiful but a terrible scratch magnet with so many polished surfaces on case and bracelet. For daily use my Pablo Profundo VB-1 (now available in revised model VB-2) is more practical. Only the sides of case and chamfer are polished. Slightly smaller and slightly thicker, with probably better ETA 2824-2 movement, boxed ar sapphire crystal, female end links, drilled lugs, more bracelet taper, external screw links, very small milled pushbutton clasp and a bezel that can't turn accidentally. Still, this Wise watch is a gem

Is there any kind of hard coating???

    • @smoove314

No, it scratches easily. I only wear it on the bracelet for special occasions now. But when I do it shines like a Rolex and people notice.

    what is the accuracy?

    • @LucaTheStar
      @LucaTheStar 3 місяці тому +1

The calibrated Miyota 9015 should pretty much be Chronometer accurate. I only have their cheaper Hitman watch with a Seiko movement right now and that was +0 for half a week before it was off from the time on my computer by one second.

Splitting the end link into two pieces to make it female instead of a male end link looks weird. I know they did this so it'll fit smaller wrists but it doesn't look good in my opinion. Still a gorgeous watch though and the quality is outstanding.
