- The Heroes Nations Cup is a Heroes of the Storm tournament series, leading to an offline final in Berlin Germany! The main event takes place on June 10th & 11th and has the participating teams fight for a minimum prize-pool of $5000! In total 6 teams will be able to qualify for the offline part of the Heroes of the Storm tournament and represent their country (4x EU, 1x NA, 1x Asia)! To make the drafts and games more interesting for the audience and players, the tournament will adopt part of the META Madness ruleset: each hero can only be played ONCE within a match (Bo3/Bo5).

At around 8 minutes mark of in game time. It is actually French team with better merc timing. In general, it is best to take mercs as late as possible to prevent them from being exposed to soaking hero. The sooner you take them, the greater the risk are that they are going to just get killed. Later you take them, enemy soaker needs to wait longer to kill them while you get more time on objective.
When it changes over to Trysklr on the couch I busted out laughing. 1:07:12

Khaldor clearly is super stronk in HOTS strategic game theory . Guys, it's just super amazing that we have this blessing of a series that is even better than official competitions early on. Tychus is better than my thrall manaburn. When you are always casting your stuff, to get those lightning stacks, your passive heal is the only real hope you have.

Auriel love my tychus play. She throws that halo on, and she gets so much power from my dmg output. so long as im not caught out life is easy.

Those French game 2 staggers were infuriating
Yeah they seemed a bit off this tournament, not sure what was going on there
First game shows me that I'm better than these people. It is just a small thing for me. People idolize these gamers as some kind of Gods, however they play their heroes badly. Lets see, what Hanzo and Mephisto were doing this game? They could not do damage to anyone. What Muradin was going at the last objective battle? He was at the wrong place. He was supposed to create frontline not to get initiated as they were initiated upon. Not to mention his constant tendency to miss his skillshots. Also, what his horrible ultimate choice was? He took Avatar to become extra tanky and people just kept on ignoring him. His entire ultimate was a complete waste.
French team also had very questionable picks. Hanzo and Mephisto are both poke type damage dealers. They can't assassinate anyone. They do not do direct damage. What they were expecting to happen when they took such flimsy backline? Lucio pick also was out of touch with a match. We had fairly mobile, sustain damage dealers and heroes. He picks a hero with AoE mobility. Lucio is best at sustain fights. So, they took sustain healer with poke composition and they did not poked. They got wrecked by Diablo hard initiation.
Btw: French also initiated fights...with half dead Lucio. Are these my QM matches all over again? Tank is clearing objective. Half of the team decides it is time to 3 vs 5.

Why did yasu and BananaH swap lucio and Hanzo in game 1? 🤦♂️
Because Lucio is pretty much Yasu's main. He is famous for his Lucio plays and probably better with him than Bananah.
@@MrunHide but isn't Yasu better with Hanzo? BananaH's Hanzo was honestly sub par.
@@rohit.vikram Maybe. But I suppose they wanted to play to their strengths which is usually a good idea. They probably assumed that Bananahs Hanzo is good enough but Yasu's Lucio is exceptional. Yasu seems to be more comfortable with aggressive heroes which is probably why he was playing Kharazim on Sky Temple as well.
