Listening to the instrumental beat and the key of the vocals, I personally see this fitting a similar tone to VibingLeaf's take on IHY (Ignited Hatred). The boss song in that has a beat similar to this. In my mind I'm picturing the Ignited Hatred fight as the backdrop for this cover! Great retake!
Pretty good! I prefer the notes on the vocals here, they sound a lot better to me. Not super crazy about the chromatics. Idk just doesn’t have the impact the old ones did. Instrumental is good, definitely, but it kind of seems like you mostly just used SMW instruments, which is fine but I think it would help if you shook things up more. Overall pretty good and I think you’ll probably be making some really cool stuff in the future :)
thanks for the feedback! i did try to tone the vocals down and make them sound more harmonic because in my opinion the vocals in original ihy are ear tearing (although maybe its just the chromatics) and yeah i should definitely try spicing up my inst choice

And yeah the chromatics aren’t exactly the best but to me the chroms in here sound kind of “flat” if that makes sense. Like it could use a bit more expressiveness.
