I struggle every day against depression, fighting mentally to avoid falling into addiction to alcohol or drugs. Music is my refuge, it calms me and allows me to redirect my thoughts away from negativity. With your support, I could acquire a keyboard to continue this therapy. Born into a modest family, my income is not enough to achieve this goal. Every contribution, no matter how small, is precious. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I have been a pianist for 25 years and I was thinking about getting this keyboard knowing fully that it's not a pro level instrument however, I'm on a tight budget this time around. This video makes me rethink this idea especially when I heard the piano patches..
The best of the best🙏
I just love these "no talking"s
this sounds soooo goood!!!
Very good excellent demo.....Thank you Sir
Wow. Cool sounds for such a price!
How’s that keybed action, better than before, or “PSorry” again?
Same as ew410, which is disappointing
It's getting harder and harder to make an argument for something like the PSR-SX700 when this does a lot of the important things for a lot less money while including more keys for not much more weight. If you're into that sort of thing.
I noticed Yamaha included professional stereo outputs, and that is a customer-friendly move. It's not just for beginners at home. You can really gig with this thing as long as you keep your expectations reasonable.
This thing is light years behind than the SX700. The sounds are absurdly shitty and very annoying to the ears. The style controls are terrible. Only A/B and it's just one button. No mixer in style section. I hope Yamaha improves their entry-level keyboards. They are so held back and underpowered in sound quality and features.
Thank you!
nice demo....looks like a good beginner arranger kb..
Hey! I am not sure if you can help me, but I trying. My Keyboard is a Yamaha PSR- EW310. I am wondering if the EW425 has the Strings tones which is the voice number 77 on the EW310? And tell me if EW425 has it or not? Thanks for helping me out!
I like the organ sound at 3:05. Is that sound as well as the piano at 2:50 are unique to EW425 while its brother PSR-E473 does not have? Do we find these sounds or better sounds in PSR-SX600? (It seems I have not heard demo with such good organ and sounds in SX600 videos). It is because I am hesitating between EW425 and SX600 (limited to this budget, not more with SX700 or SX900), while trading off with 76 (preferred) or 61 keys. Many thanks to everyone who can help with more information!
@@user-lb3xb2qf6f Thanks :) I finally bought the SX600, hope I will enjoy it for a while :)
Super
Price?
It's $489.99.
Kindly play for me the tune of grand piano here... Or maybe next upload videos.. Tnx
Very nice keyboard 👍
cheesier than cheese. love it!!
Hi, thanks for posting. Can you press one key - e.g. C to get the keyboard to play a C chord accompaniment?
Yes. This has been the feature for Yamaha arrangers for quite a long time.
@@LustForKeyboards Thank you.
maximum how much sound can be layered on this keyboard?
It has a +6db mode to make it louder based on its Amazon description
Do you have an external speaker connected ?
i see that the sound is not from the exterior but from the factory speakers.
Can we do music production in this keyboard do we have midi in this
Yes, it has a MIDI output like every modern keyboard.
Can it loads voices or new sounds? Or just the one that comes already with it?
No option to load new voices / sounds but you can edit them quite a lot thanks to a lot of effects, attack, cutoff, resonance, release etc. Also you could load new styles.
Are the keys weighted etc ?
they are not
No.
I want to order one but no one can get one for me before Sept. What else is left thar's comparable... Yamaha, Casio, Korg, Roland, etc.... running on batteries if needed, 76 or more keys built in speaker keyboard .
Still having same problem.
Kraft, Sweetwater, Chicago Music Exchange, B&H, all are back ordered. Interested in why you returned yours.
Price??
500-600 Euros
@@ItsMrDanny in that price you will get, psr sx600
@@euzineu8091 I saw the sx600 on multiple sites with a price of around 650 and the ew425 around 550.
@@ItsMrDanny I am from India, psr sx 600 price rate in india is rupees 50,000 which is 586 euro.
@@euzineu8091 I'm from EU so I don't know why and how that works but I guess your lucky then. So that means the ew425 will also be a cheaper for you, something like 450-500 Euro.
Non weighted keys or semi please 🫶
neither
Non-weighted.

My yamaha nvp-80 piagerro sounds just as good. So no reason to upgrade.
Nothing against the Piagerro, but it's a far more basic instrument than this. If you just need a piano sound, the Piagerro is fine.
This is a lot more versatile with hundreds of sounds, accompaniments, and sampling.
@@danieldougan269 How does this stack up to the DGX-670?
Is that nursing home music?
Yup! Music just like grandma used to make. Nothing you haven't heard a million times before, LOL.

I just bought this and the grand piano sounds horrible. Tried all 3 piano options and it has a ping sound to it. That’s the best way I can describe. And my cheaper Yamaha sounds much better!!!! Normal! I’ve tried everything every knob every button nothings making it sound better without that ping after affect. Very disappointed.. I specifically bought this model because it said that they updated and made the grand piano sound better… This is the second one I got shipped to me, the first went back I thought it was defective because the box was roughed up. But now that I got this second one, & again sounds terrible idk but I’m so aggravated.
Did you end up keeping it or returning the keyboard
Try Dsp1 Type and put number 40 or any
Mdr 175
Toy
It wasn't designed to be a professional level keyboard. Relax.
For a non professional player like me this "toy" could be very useful. I use a Korg SP-250 for practicing piano andcI could really use the PSR-EW425 for the Organ (and other) sounds. Off course I would like to have something like a Roland VC730, a Yamaha YC71 or a Nord but I just can't afford that. But, for a "budget" keyboard, the EW425 sounds pretty amazing !!
@@PETERJOHN101 Right....
It is a toy like the Korg EK50, the Roland E-X50 but how about the Yamaha Montage or Modx, are they toys too?
Build quality is very bad. Keys making noise after 5 month and live control knobs making rough sound too😢
