just for the physics and handling I prefer to play motorfest, It's strange because the motorfest map is better detailed but the old map seems more interesting to me, the motorfest map is not bad but I would like it to be bigger and more interesting, by the way, I miss the pedestrians walking around the city
i have the exact same points but my problem with motorfest is the map is too small
@@ultimatebo3noob710 Yes I understand, I hope that the two islands that are on the sides of the map are extensions of the map for future dlc and that they add things like houses, but expecting things like that is expecting a lot, we just have to settle
that's always what I'm saying to the others. The physics itself and the handling are just SOOO much better than The Crew 2, it makes me forgot about the map. It would be nice tho if for some reason they bring back the USA map but with even better details like Hawaii in Motorfest, but I doubt it will happen.

Wish motorfest just updated the Crew2 American map..that's the main thing I miss about crew2, oh and having a Garage

If they wanted to change from the US they could have just done mainland Europe
My main problem with Motorfest is that there is no point in buying and upgrading your own cars because we can’t do races with them… like in the playlists. They always give us some loaner car which doesn’t make the game as fun and worth the grind at times. We need more races like in the TC2 where we could use our own whips and progress normally … that is my main reason for wanting to go back to the TC2
Do you not know how to change the settings for the playlist race you can literally change it to a custom race and choose your own car
Yea what the other guy says, when starting the race, you can move up to the loaner car and replace the loaner car with your own car of the required class. Def isn’t explained properly but you’re able to use your own cars in races
The Crew Motorfest is so much better, but if the Crew 2 had the same physics, handling and graphics then TC2 would be better

I honestly miss the license plates from The Crew 1. They were rare, some hard to get, you could get various states, etc. It was awesome, the Crew 2 and Motorfest license plates are such a downgrade.

It’s because everybody wants to copy each other nowadays. Everybody wants to be like Fortnite or Forza Because it’s where the money is. That’s one of the reasons why the game industry has gone down hill. Nobody wants to be different.

The Crew Motorfest would be so close to perfect if they had FreeRoam Crossplay. Such a missed opportunity to gather more of a fan base.

They should have just overhauled the controls settings and driving of the Crew 2 with Motorfest ones, and just brought Hawaii as a dlc map. We said this since before it came out...
Overhauling the controls from TC2 with the one from FH5 could be a best option.

The crew motorfest handling model makes the game soo much more enjoyable even have more hours then tc2. they should add pedestrian too give cities more life & the ability too raise & lower cars like the potential is there

I have over 280h in TC2 and I love it it's the best online experience I have ever had in a game and I have continued playing for almost 2 years which I never do and I was excited for motorfest but when i picked it up and tried it after about 8h I just didn't like it hope maybe after a year or two of updates it gets better
Yes it is, in everyway except the graphics and car physic. Regret buying Motorfest, played ita for a couple of days and pretty much seen all it has to offer😊
felt the same way when i was playing during the insider program which is also why i didn't buy it and stuck with tc2, besides the graphics/handlings of cars the game felt lack luster and in some regards became worse like bikes and planes, i also wasn't a massive fan of some of UI menu changes and the general vibe of the game.

I miss the last one but especially see the main car. Just try to follow what supercar blondy says about the Renault Trezor's opening and interior but need to wait until some can put that car in the main stage to actually see it.
Stats tracker is available on PC on Ubisoft Connect app. I'm not sure about Consoles though.

I have over 1000h on TC2 and I recently got The Crew Motorfest, the thing I really miss is the normal races and the long highways. The map in motorfest is a lot more detailed but I would like some more highways and some long races like the new york in TC2. I haven't found any good way to farm money too

I agree. I'm not even American but could still relate to the maps in the Crew 2 better than Motorfest. Think about it, the whole point in the map was being able to go across country that seperated it from most games....who goes to Hawaii to race 🤡

Let’s be honest the Crew 2 map sucks also. If you are a real American you’ll know how it really looks like. Sometimes when I played especially 2 I feel like I’m in a different country 😂
my only issue with the Motorfest from someone who hasn't bought it yet is the map looks tiny compared to past games and just seems like it will get very repetitive for events. It just looks like it takes minutes to travel one side to the other when past titles took hours to do so
It really is repetitive there's way less variety in activities as well overall and the map is a big downgrade but everything else is too it feels like a less complete game the graphics and physics are better in motorfest but there's no cutscenes after the beginning for atleast some story no bosses and nothing else it's such a downgrade I played the crew 2 for years but for motorfest I quit after 4 days

@ByLJT Very true but even then the game will still get boring and you might just go back to the 2nd if you still play that but if you don't this game will definitely not keep you back on the series sadly
Yeah it gets boring very quickly especially when they put the exact same races back to back in the summit. You also spawn at this bland festival every single time you log it (after having to back out of the useless car meet place he showed). You end up feeling like you've seen everything there is to see by day one. That combined with the story just being "oh hey I've never met you before here's my car don't crash it or I'll get sad" every single race just makes the game forgettable. Also the menu system is so cluttered you just get overwhelmed and lost to the point where you just give up and use the Forza clone Clara assistant that automatically puts a waypoint down every time you log in or finish a race
My personal opinion is that the crew motorfest lacks identity. They had a really good thing going with the crew and the crew 2, and then for motorfest they said screw it let's copy forza.

@@topgun1457The issue I have with forza is the cars sound too much like each other and sound like they were made with a computer. TC made the cars sound like cars and motorcycles sound like motorcycles. If you get what I’m saying.

They copied Forza in 2 bro. Look at the difference of 1 & 2. The Crew 2 was a washed up dollar tree of Forza. Motorfest is also like a wannabe Forza but they actually did a way better job than 2.
I was really hoping that this game will last a year only and then they would release a game 'crew 3' where the physics, graphics and etc from motorfest are sent to the crew 2 map
Was literally thinking about this, last weeks car summit I grinded out the one in crew 2 since it was more fun
I feel like Latrell's storyline was good in concept, just executed poorly. The idea of a "reverse NFS" storyline where you're trying to get an illegal street racing gang to take up legal racing is unique and could have been really interesting, but the way TC2 handles storylines (in the way that they're barely even there) it just falls flat.
If the crew 2 had motorfest handling and physics it would be the best game ever

They should’ve kept the same director from the first crew game for the sequels instead of changing directors. The first game had a vision the others not so much.
I loved TC2 despite its rough handling model. Motorfests isn't a massive improvement, in my opinion the cars in MF feel like they have too much oversteer, you have to start preparing for a corner days before youre into it, (I know you can change pro settings and stuff) the game just doesn't do it for me, after 15 minutes im just bored and can't find a connection to the vehicle I'm driving. I do have alot of hope for the future of the game though as I believe it will continue to grow and become better.
I miss that in the crew 2 you had your house and your car showroom

but yeah one more aspect i would like to add upon would be music. both games have really good music, but Motorfest edges out a little ahead since it has phonk/trap japanese style music in it

The Crew 2 only because of the map, the big map is just such a good thing to have... The half a hour race with boys was just so much more fun that Motorfest.....

I think that this Motorfest vs TC2 thing came due to the content IMO, people is complaining 24/7 at Motorfest for lacking content, i think thats because lots of us got used to TC2 having a lot of content due to it being out for almost 6 years, hope Motorfest can equal and even overpass the amount of content that TC2 has to offer, peace😁👋
It’s not the 6 years of content it’s that the crew 2 came out with a lot more content than motorfest did off launch
I feel like even at launch tc2 had more content and features overall and with this being the 3rd game you would expect them to have even more at launch than tc2 not less and I don't mean just the map of course that's a whole other story 😕
@BlackPanthaa I wish they would add car engine sound test while in the car customization/engine swap menu just like how we test horns so that there is no need for us to exit customization just to test the engine sound.
If the graphics and gameplay (some of it) came from Motorfest back to The Crew 2 and Motorfest would've just been a big feel like it could've made some sense. I play the Crew 2 more often because there is SO MUCH more to do. Grand Race gets old after a while as well as the battle royale mode. It's so hard to even find people in that, redoing the same playlists after already completing all the events/challenges for. I love Motorfest to drive around all my cars from The Crew 2, hearing the new sounds, seeing the visuals, and a few other things makes me hop on and just drive around in Motorfest. The Crew 2 there's such a bigger variety and if you have a next gen console, you can have it running 60fps/graphics mode as well which is SO much better than the sometimes laggy gameplay TC2 could have. I'm not hating on either because I've loved and enjoyed all 3 of the Crew games but the fact they've added SO much content to TC2 you get cars that aren't even added into Motorfest yet. Could've made a seprate HQ for events and for yourself I would've much rather had the HQ building for my current car I'm driving, and the whole rest of the building could be for your cars kinda like apartments. I think that game takes the cake over visuals and things, personally after you've gone ahead and went through and done EVERY single event at least once in TC2 you kinda just realize yes it's overwhelming with ALL the events but there's so much more in TC2 than Motorfest. Motorfest just feels like a cash grab for their loyal fans. If they would've gone the way of somehow making it to where you could goto the airport and travel back to TC2 map but updated, sure all the events and things probably wouldn't be there anymore but there's so much ideas they could've gone with.
Don’t quote me on this, but far as i recall, it was supposed to be a DLC for The Crew 2, hence the size of the map. Plus, The Crew 2 was gonna get a graphics enhancement along with it, ala Wild Run. I guess Ubisoft needed more money so they made it a standalone game. They could sell micro transactions separately.
@@Reaper1722 see I heard that to but I erased that because I didn't want someone arguing and telling me I was wrong 😂 Graphically on PS5/Xbox TC2 plays and looks great with the little upgrade. I would've been okay spending 40 or even almost full price for it to be a DLC. Look at all the cut content TC2 had with more apartments and things like that, it amazes me they still went this way and I fell for it. 😂 Really wish the "HQ" was separate and I could have a whole showroom for MY cars. I don't wanna walk into a giant warehouse seeing everyone else's car.
It's really too late to turn Motorfest into the crew 2 dlc. They would have to kick players out of TC2 until they buy a dlc pack. If Motorfest would have been a dlc, then that could make a big change to The Crew 2 diverse map. Ofc since The Crew 2 is a festival game it will frequently not be named part 2 of the first sequel no more. Therefore the new title of The Crew 2 will just be renamed The Crew Motorfest as one big compound.

Had motorfest for about 2 months now and haven’t done a race with my own cars yet in single player. Sick of doing playlists. Once I got use to the driving in C2, I had so much fun jumping from playlists to regular races with my purchased car. I just like the driving physics in motorfest(might be top 5 all time for me). Just need regular street and pro racing in motorfest and I’ll be good
The Crew 2 map is unbeatable. That all i can guarantee. I feel more excited about it. would you imagine if any game studio have their gut to make a racing game that have freaking massive map with compact scale of all entire country. Man, I need racing game with all entire map of Japan so bad bad.
Have you ever tried the crew 1? Map is basically the same but it has more details and locations. It feels more alive. Also graphic feels less "plastic"

I do love the open customization of crew one but i like the 2nd game for vehicle options since the first didnt have planes or the like but i also wish we had the handling of the 3rd game maybe if they make a 4th they will mash them all together and make a decent game since I'd love to have the amazing handling model aswell as vehicle selection and the ability to turn legit anything into a monster truck

I miss the Midnight Club customization. I'd like to be able to adjust ride heights and rim sizes. With more old school cars. I can't really find any other car game that has those types of features

My main problem is that the map is tiny as hell, I liked hopping on the interstate from Miami to Nashville and up to New York and completely topping out my Bugatti, Ferraris etc, it’s not possible on motorfest you get from top to bottom in a straight line in like 30 seconds
I hate this focus on online stuff. Seeing the garage in The Crew 2 brings me memories of Test Drive and how whatever you did, you did it for yourself. It has more of a feeling as collecting cars not for others, but more for yourself. It made you feel like you're some car collector in a fancy house.
I've watch your video on the first the Crew game being shut down and I remember that I got the game when it was free online couple years ago ........so i found out that my laptop can actually play the game without lags or any other issues......too be honest I fell in love with the game and can't stop playing it......I'm really hoping they patch the game with a offline mode just like what the developers did for SimCity online

Might be a hot take but the Crew 1 is the most revolutionary racing game ever made.
Since the release of the crew 2 there hasn't been as much innovation and some of the signature features that made the crew so amazing where scraped.
I do miss the mechanical view of the car where every part did move in the upgrade menu.
The details on that game were ahead of its time. Haven't seen that in any modern racing game.
The Crew 1 was my go to racing game. I am not playing regulary and just dabble in and out. I played the free trials of crew 2 and it just didnt hit at all. I dont need planes or boats. Im just too sad, that it got shut down.

Pantha they do have an engine kit that makes the turbo whistle the hoonigan engine kit has it makes it sound like the hoonicorn I have it on many cars
For me its TCM for this reasons - smaller map, custom race option to make any race as Rally or Hyper or Monster Truck, handling is way too good, playlist, grand race and it's simply more fun then TC2.

I feel like i beat everything in crew motorfest within the first two weeks and I just hopped on last night and they added a new drift series that’s about it - drift vol 2
The Crew 2 had 4 distinct "bosses" that were at the top of whatever type of race they were doing. I remember this dude from the offroad series that was basically like "fuck yeah man, when I'm driving through the woods or jumping off of cliffs or racing through the mud it really makes me feel connected to nature" or some shit like that. And while he was saying that, you were shown this montage of the most beautiful places around the US, it was awe-inspiring.
Then you had the dude (or dudette, can't remember) racing planes and boats, and he/she was like "fuck yeah man, when I'm flying through the sky it's like I'm a bird and I'm free and I can see the entire world/and when I'm racing a boat it's like whooooah the water is mesmerizing". It sounds really dumb but you actually believe what they were saying, because the visuals were good and the presentation was awesome. The pre-rendered videos showcasing each discipline really put you in the right mood.
If this is not in Motorfest I'm gonna be fucking pissed.

I feel like the crew motorfest is obviously better, but it lacks the map size since we are used to TC2 map, and maybe even some new events that they released late for TC2. Other than that I don't regret spending my life savings on buying it XD

In Motorfest i miss pvp ranking sistem and pvp races on categories like just street races from start to finish, cirxuit races, etc.

We need an actually illegal street racing game with a non cringy, deep, interactive story. Good handling, not the same nfs cars we get every year. Actual cars that ppl use such as g35s, more lower trim Mercedes, bmws, etc. we have too many high end cars like corvettes, gtrs, and supercars. NFS fails to do this all the time bc EA never listens to their players and the crew is moving towards a kid friendly forza alternative

There's a few bit that's better in motorfest like graphics, engine sounds, and the handling, but it just fails in map size for me. Crew 2 was insane even half of that would have been great in the motorfest. I know it's an island, but that's what made this game the one for me.

has anyone tried out AMD driver based AFMF frame gen in The Crew 2 & Motorfest, which are both fps locked (unfortunately) ? theoretically it should work on fps locked games too I've read, right? just make sure you've set up (disabled/enabled) everything correctly (anti-lag, vrr, vsync, HAGS & other stuff & whatnot)... I'm curious if it actually feels like an improvement if you tried to enable AFMF in TC2/TCMF , or the opposite.. or, if it's stupid anti cheat would even let you (eg. you can't even use dxvk for TC2)
TC2 the map is better landscape appearance is worse. Race Creator and actual people is a plus. The test drive was a plus. Having a house was a plus we should have the ability to have multiple houses and earn money to improve our house. I wanted better use of your Avatar like for real car meets with people. If they could have taken all the improved updated features, improved lighting physics handling car sounds, etc from Motorfest and redone TC2 I would have been happy and they would be untouchable as a race game. Hawaii could have been a cool DLC but I am going to get bored with this map in Hawaii really fast. The old map was way more interesting than this one I actually bought TC2 cause I live in Vegas and I saw Vegas in the game and grabbed it. I miss driving across the country. If the devs don't fix the insane reset exploits, cheats and establish penalties for rammers and bad driving people are going to start checking out. Racing is a skill I want to play with people who want to race not people who want to ram you into wall or fly off a cliff only to be rewarded by still moving 250 MPH and reset 300 yards ahead of you. I am over it and this is really a beautiful game

I don't know what is wrong with my motorfest but the graphics are broken... the cars literally shift back and forth on the screen when I'm not even moving
you don't seem to have noticed, that there are also pedestrians present in The Crew 2, while in Motorfest they're non-present, and because of that it somehow feels a bit empty, like Forza Horizon...
best thing to do though as motorfest is still gaining traction just play both games they are both great in different ways

My problem with tcm is the content. There's nothing to do once you beat a playlist, and there's no reason for me to keep playing once I beat the core playlist (being the races). The challenges are whatever.
I wish they wouldve just kept factions and disciplines.
Map wise tho tcm is better because tc2 felt empty.
Another problem is the challenges themselves. Most of them are impossible for me do even start to do because none of my friends play TCM. I'm the only one in my friend group who even remotely likes cars, they all think racing games are stupid and a waste of money.
So most of the endgame content I can't even do because I have no one to do it with.
So as a PVE player, my options are severely limited.
