They're both autistic, Orla more seriously so than her mother.
I think that Orla wouldn't be the same if aunt Sarah was a more responsible parent. It's a good thing that auntie Mary is there to take care of the rest. Erin and Orla do have a beautiful family.

This is the first show where every single character is my favorite character.

The fact that no one seems to be absolutely losing it at the "Winking??? At your age?? Christ I feel sick" line is astounding to me. I quote it way too much

True story. First time I watched this I really liked Aunt Sarah! And my mum ends up bringing up that she actually use to go to school with the girl and actually was one of her friends! YES MY MA WAS USE TO BE FRIENDS WITH AUNT SARAH!!
