  • We recently enjoyed a short 2 day break at the fabulous Slieve Russell Hotel in Co Cavan. These are some of the views over the lake and golf course from the back of the hotel. I was interested in the old decorative fountain but there was no information on it displayed.

So glad you both had a good and relaxing break Tom,that fountain is wonderful and it's a great addition to the ground's it's got to have come from another historical building that's probably been demolished or been destroyed by fire, wouldn't it be exciting to find out.

I think you are right on this Chris. I would love to know the history of that fountain.

It is a wonderful chill out spot Shaun. This was our first short or long break in ages. We haven't been on a foreign holiday since way before the virus.
