I grow up on the east coast, not far from Philadelphia. The first time I heard of Denver, or Colorado for that matter, was when someone explained to me what the D on some coins meant.

Market Street, I've been to Denver - pretty city - and it has an Eastern more than Western feel. I liked that - it works with the backdrop.
    Nice history.

I went through the Denver mint years ago. (The person who gave the tour. ) I told him that I had a penny where there was an outline of Kennedy's head next to Lincoln's head. He says that this was defacing money!

All of the gold is underground and I've heard they only keep _some_ of our bullion stored there.

I wish my native states found the resources to produce such fantastic videos as these about Colorado! I have never lived in Colorado... I did visit Colorado Springs to attend trainings as a youth at the Olympic Training Center... There is no ocean, which is a major drawback for me. Otherwise, Colorado seems to be a fantastic place! - Oh: Except for Representative Boehbert, of course! She is the biggest embarrassment of the state’s history.

And as the electronic age is going strong we see coins and paper money not used as much as debt and credit cards thus is the end of the need for mints and physical money. Plastic electronic money cards is the next 100 years of currency. Even physical banks are no longer needed, just ATM's and the internet, "swipe away".
