    Excellent demonstration. My question is how does it sound on vocals? I own a Roland Street Cube and everything sounds like hi-z pickups, all midrange.

    Thanks for the demo. It may improve the sound if you played closer to the soundhole.

    Could I plug the DI output directly into three XLR input on a powered speaker, or do I have to have a mixer in-between?

    Hi Ian , thanks - this is a great sounding amp. I have to say though, they do sound a lot warmer than this demo suggests - I don't think you've captured the sound well by close-miking over the tweeter. They're best miked centrally from a foot or so away. Still, totally recommend this amp for live or studio use.

    can the 2nd channel be used for a guitar or mic only?

    Hi Ian, The guitar sounds nice thru it , but wondered how does voice sound ? Currently using a Roland Cube Street for small venues & Busking . Saw this and wondered if the Fishman is an upgrade in volume, sound quality for instrument and voice ? Thanks in advance.

      It has a very clear, neutral sound for both voice and guitar. Think of it like a mini PA. I would have no problems using one of these for that application

    Nice little amp I have had for a few years. I just thought I might plug in some headphones to keep the volume down but discovered there is no jack, bummer. Anyone know of a simple way to rig one up?

      Love mine.🎶 My Gear: Gibson J-50 with LR Baggs element. sennheiser e825, e835 mics, guitar and vocals are amazing on this little amp. I like a little extra reverb on my vocals and this set up, for the little money, you cannot go wrong. 🎶

    Sounds like your are strumming plastic, rubber strings. Take out the mids, and put some compression on.

      Dude, the point is to give the listener an idea of what it sounds like with flat EQ and an average underside pickup, not to give you the ideal guitar recording sound. If I mess with EQ and effects, then what's the point in doing the demos? Don't you think most people would want to hear what to expect from one of these?

    • @RPSartre01
      @RPSartre01 3 роки тому +9

      Ian Meadows it’s okay to start like that, but then you need to show the EQ knobs work to give you a somewhat realistic acoustic sound.

      I actually thought the exact opposite lol. I have the Loudbox Artist. One of my best gear investments by far.

    It's a terrible amp for akoestic guitars. I tried it with several guitars with different pickups ( LR Baggs , Fishman ).
    First : there is an annoing high frequency wich you can't get rid of , even if you turn your high tone knob to zero ; this makes your sound cold.
    Second : the mid tone knob is a disaster ; you don't want that kind of frequency in your sound.
    What's left : the bass , this makes a weird sound in combination with the other tone settings.
    The result is a cold , not warm sound which sounds much to electric . I compared , for a joke , with a little Ibanez Troubadour ; this one had a much warmer , akoustic sound with nice low end and controllable high tones . I was amazed : An Ibanez Troubadour ........😅😅😅
