Making a Miniature Marble Machine!
Вставка

- In this video I'm using a ball bearing of only 5mm wide. The track is made of 0.6mm wire. It took me waaaay longer to construct than anticipated, because a small mistake and the ball wouldn't stay on the track.
I made this tiny marble track to celebrate that I reached 40K subs! Hope you like it! Next video will be a tutorial on special elements for the normal sized balls :)
It would be super exciting to see your creations! So please share them with me on instagram / daniel_de_bruin

Because you demanded a perfect timed run here's a video of just that: ua-cam.com/video/N4w7Rz97zqg/v-deo.html :)
Hi
Much love from Australia 🇦🇺.
Could you try making a marble run using just paper clips? (Apart from the ball)
I think that would be a fun challenge.
Tt
So faste for flash
Wait a minute you’re dutch
It doesn't play music, you've ruined it
The only thing that could make this more awesome is if the track was just long enough to end right as the lift was ready to pick up the bearing again.
It's almost there, just needs like a few more cm of track
a faster motor and more balls would be awesome. And maybe a new design for 3 arms to lift the balls, cause I would like to see an avalanche of balls falling through the bearing!!!
It's running on 1.5v now but the motor is rated for 6v so I could just simply run it a bit faster! I'll try
@@danielbruin i was going to suggest overvolting the motor but sounds like you don't even have to do that!
Here you go! the perfect run: ua-cam.com/video/N4w7Rz97zqg/v-deo.html

yep
The edit on this is insane! I counted over 160 cuts. Cool machine too...
I totally put this comment on the wrong video a few months ago. Facepalm.
Haha I remember! I thought you where joking
@@danielbruin it's funny, there were other commenters arguing with each other about were the edits were. I deleted the comment.
@@Makebuildmodify Haha people really thought so? thats funny
Houston we need more balls
Daniel de Bruin: imma make a small marble machine.

Mini music marble machine
What do you think of my 3d printer? I love it, its crazy fast! (not sponsored)
Nou ik zou het wel willen als ik het materiaal heb👍
Ja ik vindt de printer ook snel ik heb er ook een van Quidi tech
Can it print a 3D printer? If so, print one. Then, take the original printer back to the store for a full refund, as you now have a (free) printer 👌😁. There is no off position on the genius switch - David Letterman.
Really nice.
What do you use for the ground?
@@timberfalls2865 Yeah I wonder the same, it seems to be some sort of graphite compound, but I don't know
I'm not a huge fan of the prusa mini. Too many 3d printed parts, considering you can get a full metal ender 3 for half the price.
Dude! Freaking awesome again!!!
You too, probably because you used wewd
Oh my wewd!! you’re here too??
Wow, the weed warrior
@@UwU-dw9zr Yeah you might wanna edit that
Hi Bobby :)
I appreciate the Banana for Scale. Now THAT'S science!
You know that the banana is evidence of a creator?
Do not be fooled, bananas can be deceiving..
This is dope...... clear and clean....
Ahhh, yes, the classic bannana for scale... 🤣
the only scale i use
Didn't you get it he used a HUGE MONSTER banana to trick us all?
Gotta say that was a really nice touch. Befiting of a man of culture.

This is a work of art! .... modern😜👍
*contemporary.
the banana was the perfect touch at the end!
That's the most creative 3d printer time lapse I've ever seen. I thought it was about to catch fire.
Would you even consider making such a small track??
Yea. It looks dope
Not this scale though 🤔
Quick question: which study did you do?
Great job! I went and bought wire after seeing your first video! I can’t get the solder to stay. This is very tedious and takes a bunch of time! Super impressed!
@@michaelwampler9118 if you do it properly it will stay for sure. Maybe a few soldering tutorials would help ( not doubting your ability)
Yes! It's a different sort of challenge. There's something different about little things.... Btw great vid
when you got the 3D printer out, i thought : "nice i love prints timelapses....uh why is there smoke......ohhhh, okay, ditch the timelapse, this transition is awesome !"
keep gettin your work this good dude !
There is nothing more satisfying than functioning miniature things!
i like the ending, just a banana, no context, no music, no words, just banana.
Really cool that you have to even use a macro lens (is it?) just to focus on the track.
Perfect content. Absolutely nailed it
Hey Atomic Shrimp what are you doing here?
Just realized I liked a video that had no form of commentary, but was still enjoyable due to excellent camera work and a solid music choice. 5 Minutes well spent
You have no business making something this satisfying sir. Watched it like 4 times lol
The banana for scale touch is just magnificent
I so wanted this machine to have perfect timing so that it picked up the ball bearing right as it stopped in the bottom of the tray. EDIT: THERE IS A RUN WITH PERFECT TIMING. Subbed.
This.. does put a smile on my face.
I have never seen better production in a youtube video... that 3d print fog transition... chef's kiss
eyes: woooo
brain: let's try
hands: shut up
Bravo. Thanks for sharing. My family is building our own because of your previous tutorial.
I love how you just get to the point unlike other you tubers who tell us what the video is about as if we can’t read the title
so happy i was gifted by the algorithm with this. all hail the algorithm. on a non meme note, wonderful craftsmanship and creativity on display in this vid, not only in the project, but in the edit and talent as well.
I was literally just wondering when he would post this
I don't know about anyone else but marble tracks just blow my mind and never cease to amaze me so this video was great for me. Thank you Daniel!
thanks for making this short and sweet and not 30 minutes long
This is the best 3D print transition I’ve ever seen
Martin be like: I could never be an engineer like that. While building this in 100x bigger.
just awesome !!!
Gotta get me one of those Prusa Minis!
Not only did you make a mini marble machine, you banked the curves!!! I kneel in awe, sir, you rock!
I'm Japanese.
This is amazing!!!!☺
Very impressive ;-)
Wow nice I am Spanish xD
Thanks for putting the banana beside, it explains everything!
I had no idea what was going on most of the video but the final product was cool as hell and the music slaps too
When I first saw this I thought it was a windergatan vid XD
O my god! This is it! The real *PERPETUAL MOTION*
This channel is SOOO underrated
*How much?*
Yes. How much?
Just take my money!
Hahahah
But seriously: this is a work of art!
You should do it to sell. I would buy one!
Me: Oh this is pretty co... THE JUMP GOES THROUGH THE MIDDLE!?!?!
I imagine a full theme parks worth of complexity and randmoizing paths sitting on my desk at work.
Wow, a 3D Printed 3D Printer. How nice.
Found your channel a few weeks ago and thought to myself “wouldn’t it be cool if he showed how to make a micro version of this?”. You’ve read my mind
Love everything you do. These videos always amaze me.❤️
Banana for scale? A man of culture!
There are so many little wonderful aspects of this video, not the least of which is the satisfaction of seeing three drill-holes worth of dust get blown away together.

Thanks Giaco!
Jajajjjaajjaj the smoke effect was AWESOME and, to be honest (I am with 3d print since 2016) you have represented what exactly the people think about the speed of 3d print jaajajajaj
It is content like this that still makes me go to UA-cam. Thank you!
Thats pretty dang cool. I found this because my algorithm has a sense of humor
dit is echt super gaaf man! gelijk geabonneerd
That timing 👌👌👌
Background music beat was GREAT!
that banana for scale was perfect.
The banana for size is the ultimate measurement in engineering
Tiny Great Ball Contraption 😍
Thank you for the inspiration to make a jump through the circle!
and I'm satisfied making a good cup of coffee. I really need to level up. this is fantastic.
As someone who has made marble machines with 5mm balls I can really appreciate the effort. Very fiddly. You have a steady hand!
Amazing. I love seeing people being creative and then showing how they did it. Not sure I understand the dislikes. I know nothing of 3d printers or most of this but I'm glad the video showed up randomly for the first time for me.
There is so much beauty in this.
I love how some of your 3d printer IS 3d printed!
Looks like an awesome random desk item
This is SO wholesome, it just makes me feel good inside! Thank you!
Awesome. Timing .Perfectness.clerity ,100/100
bro you have a beautiful talented brain, I would like to congratulate you !!!
Banana on the side, give it the proper vibe 👌🏻
You must have the patience of Jobe!
Yes dude, this is awesome, greetings from NL btw maat :)
Man, your video has EVERYTHING perfect. Music, speed, image quality... UA-cam needs more of this :)
Something i’d want on my office desk
Truly mesmerizing. I could watch this all day.
Magnetic ball pick up and transfer is GENIUS!
The music and the timing it what makes this video. Well done! Love the rhythm to the video.
Всё чётко, мелочи продуманы, одним словом красавчик!!!
Dam there is some good marble runs
You deserve a medal
Ok, two thumbs up for the dry ice through the printer nozzle.
Wowwww, respect for your soldering skills and creativity!
Incredible. Amazing precision work and editing. Version 2 needs many mini marbles. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the banana. I thought this was really small, but the giant banana really set the scale for me. I'm so happy that people of the giant race are still alive and prosperingin the STEM fields.
Glad to see foam boards are still a go to material for project 🤩
Where?
My bad the black MDF threw me off, it made me think of black foam boards I used for my projects
You have amazing patience! This is incredibly fun and whimsical.
Mesmerizing kinetic sculpture! You are true artist!
I love marble games. This is legit
I wish I had this flex in 4th grade making a ball coaster for Science
This helps for not becoming bored of waiting for the MMX
I respect wintergatan for putting a lot of effort and time into the marble machine and the marble machine X, it’s for the jokes and I understand that it needs to be worked on a lot more and take more time.
That looks EPIC !!!
Wow, that thing is awesome!
Ah I see Prusa has perfected there Vape model printing method. Very Nice!
The banana at the end stole the spotlight.
Yes I'm joking. Your work is awesome man!!!
love the design and creativity
Haha, thanks for the banana. I knew it was pretty small, but now I know exactly how small.
Dude this is crazy and wonderful at the same time!
Delightful! Well done.
