Love your OOD! And both bag choices are perfect! I am there with you about purging. Gets to the point we have to zone into the bags that we reachfor. Bags are like artist works but I can't showcase them only. I too am going to sadly "unbag" the satchel as well. I love them but don't reach for them. I would love too, wish I did but I always gravitate to others more for the practicality. Thanks for sharing!
Hi MM! Yes also loved ‘looking’ at my large Florentine satchel in natural but…wasn’t practical for me to carry, too big & heavy & sadly I sold her 😞 I get what you’re talking about! TFS 😂
Hi Military Mom…….I totally agree with you . While the Dooney and Bourke is so beautiful, the opening is not wide enough for me. It is not user friendly. I only have one of these bags , but I prefer to use my DB domed satchels or my zip zips because they open nice and wide and much easier to get into. 💕
Thank you for sharing your beautiful dress and bag of the day💙 I have been purging some bags too and I feel too that bags that are not being carried should be given or gifted to others💕
Hi MM. You look absolutely beautiful. I understand exactly what you mean about the length of your Dress. I will be downsizing my collection as well. It feels good to cleanse the wardrobe. TFS.
Omg! I am the same way. I purge my bags because of the same reason! Then I had to get rid of some because they were too heavy or just not practical for me.
You look amazing in the dress. Joan Rivers always carried a scarf to put over her legs when she wore a dress or skirt on QVC. I always thought that was smart. I understand about the satchels. I can’t let go of the bags I don’t use. Maybe I will have a similar epiphany if I move. Thanks for sharing! Peace and love..Suz What ☮️💛
Hi MM, I’m sure this was a big step. I don’t carry mine either but I can’t seem to let them go. I agree with your comments. Dooney ruined it for me by not adding an outside pocket. Also I think it would be so much more functional with the three part strap. Your two bags are beautiful! I love your dress. You looks beautiful. TFS and have a great week. Xoxo 🥰🌷☀️
New subscriber💙Loving your outfit of the day.I’ve been learning towards purchasing my first Dooney.I love my Coach ❤️Definitely time to try something new.Tfs
My very first luxury bag was a DB bag my sons bought me for Christmas in 1996. I will never get rid of it. But I found I have to have an outside pocket on my bags so I was never a fan of their searches styles. I love the way they look but I wouldn’t use them so I stopped buying them.
Love the dress, where can you buy them? I hear you about that silhouette DB. I have many and I don't carry them for that same reason as you and also because they get heavy. TFS 🌺
Hi Military Mom! Love "Amazing Grace." Your dress is so pretty! Love the color! Looks so pretty on you! I agree with you about keeping bags we use vs. bags we love but don't use. There is always someone out there who can use a beautiful bag, and give it new purpose. “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19-21
Hi Kindness - thank you! So nice to hear from you! I cannot be bothered holding onto stuff that does not work for me. After all - it’s just “stuff” and had only earthly value🌺
You look beautiful...Love your Church bag ❤❤
I've started thinning out my collection also. I didn't realize I was collecting them, not using them.

I am kind of the same way I have 3 of the Dooney satchels and I really only reach for 1 and that’s been a while. Tfs
Omg, can I aquire your fabric one? I have one that I do use!
