I get stressed out just from planning out how to not get stressed. everyday -_-
+J Darling You 2 ain't even joking... this is ridiculous! One task in one day I will tackle no problem but in the wrong day the same task can cause so much stress... Need get more control over our mind & need to constantly ask ourselves how we are doing throughout the day... Not easy
Jethro Lagon i think these strategies help but doesnt eliminate stress completely. like there will always be stress. you have 2 options you can either accept & react better or change... an interview you cant change, you will have to find a way to deal with the situation, to eliminate that stress... trying to change a situation doesnt always help since it could be the cause of stress and not prevent stress. i think unfortunately there are many things that we cant change... its just dealing with them in a better way...
wow! This video is so helpful for my discussion.
“Stress is Stressful” I like that...

@YoAsian Girl you are a strong girl sis. I can't even imagine suffering from depression for 9+ years. I've overcome my depression long ago through listening the sound of nature (river, rain, etc.). It works for me & I think you should try it. You've been suffering for so long. Just so you know, you're not fighting alone. Hope the best for you.

Great ideas to deal with stress but I don’t have time for these amazing tips, because well you see this is only my free time surfing the internet. It’s like a golden moment to me in this rate, because I need to finish my homework and study,so you ask me why? I’d say,as everyone knows it’s a must to do homework but for studying,it’s just a thing you’d do when you have plenty of time.So can you guess? Yes,I have a incoming exam in just 2 days! Yeah! Stress,I have to stress about these incredible tips with how to deal and my exams! well my parents aren’t those really strict ones, but I think they are a little.
“Your calm mind is the ultimate weapon against your challenges. So relax.” -Bryant McGill
It's basically just telling you to breathe xD
this is so cool
nice video! hope it has english subtitle
Bless you
Very nice video!
Actually, taking deep breats is the most effective way to become relax. It is more important than the other techniques because it is not only about your mental health. It makes your body relax first and than your brain cannot say you are nervous or stressful. There is a technique that called "rotative nasal breathing". This method can make you calm around 1 minute and also you can use this way to make better your sleep patern. In conclusion, taking effective breats is the best way to getting calmer.
Did i lock the front door..epic :)
Useful information. To feel better reduce negative thoughts with a simple practice. Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives good relief from stress-anxiety. To relax sit on a chair or lie down, neck straight, eyes closed and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 5-10-15 minutes or more. Don’t fight your thoughts. With daily practice the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Do the practice without any expectations. When taking a walk, at office, in school, when reading, before sleep etc observe your breath sensations. Like me, make this a lifetime daily habit to have a good life. Reduce watching negative social media and avoid constipation as it affects the mind instantly. Best wishes--Counsellor.
Watching this for school :D
I remember seeing this!
helps alot
'stress is stressful'
gosh I wouldn't have guessed!
‘you can’t laugh and quake with fear at the same time’
allow me to introduce myself
The mindfulness book "30 Days to Reduce Stress" by Harper Daniels is a good resource also.
Follow daily routines and good habits, when to sleep and eat etc. Get Proper Exercise; Improper exercises can actually cause stress. You need to find out what are good exercises for your body type. Walking and stretching are good for all body types.

Everyone in quarantine: NO. NOT HAPPENING. NOT TODAY.
I used to be able to manage it but there became a time in recent times where my stress is something I cannot deal with. Feeling safe would only help my stress. Been venting quite a lot today too but don't think that's helping either. All that would help would be the truth from the people who are causing it to me.
I am forzed to see this thing FOR home Work
2:00 That's funny because I have a mild fear of clowns and if I saw one the stress levels increase as how this video was displayed 🤣😂
In my eye this is a bit superficial - chronic stress is rooted in thought patterns. Breathing or distraction will only help in the short term. Feeling loss of control or not being fit to the task have more to do with self esteem which in turn stems from upbringing or subconscious beliefs. Without work on the root causes, this stress management approach is limited to short term relief.
getting more stress
It is ok, if you do not feel energetic. It is ok, to be upset. Just know this; you are doing the best you can. You are a superstar! Take good care of yourself.
I gave this exact advice through a megaphone to my friend Flint. He was on the third floor of a burning building ( a stressful situation I'm sure you'll agree) and I said "Flint! Flint!"
"Yes?" he replied as he had heard me.
"Are you finding this situation stressful?" I queried
"Yes." he replied with a different inflection than before.
As the room he was in filled with smoke I advised him to breathe deeply and you can imagine what happened next...
helpful
Thanks for the vid. Another good source is the book "30 Days to Reduce Stress" by Harper Daniels.
Good ❤
This only gave me more stress.
Good
the main strategies for coping with stress are to take deep breaths, reassure yourself and talk to someone, exercise and doing a hobby (quick solution), you could even put your focus on something else e.g. to have a big meal. focus on a reward. but dont overdo it ..
It is fight, flight or FREEZE. We all get lock blocked and unable to move forward with the freeze part. Feeling overwhelmed? That makes doing something hard. It is why you need help from someone else.
Stress should happen in life threatening situations. Not an regular ones likes work.
for years much of it came from low wage work places where i was abused mentally. Nowadays my work is much more humane and easier but in te year i cam down with a manageble but lifetime sickness.
I would like to include this clip in a presentation I am preparing regarding managing workplace stress, just as something to break up the slides. I will credit the BBC as source. Please let me know if there is any problem with this. Thanks

Managing stress
Take a deep breath
Do exercises
Talk to someone
@wasssuppp08 I think that it just means that you let out your stress to someone else, talk about it and relax. If it's stressful, then the point is lost. Just do whatever makes you happiest, I suppose... ;D
Maybe they should speak up about the things that make us stressed and change them (*cough school cough*)
These are some of the stress management techniques which I actualised in my life. Hope these are helpful to you. Click below :

Take deep breath and think whatever who cares it's not a big deal. Keep calm and carry on you will be less stressed if you care less. It's best not to take life too seriously. Everyone gets stressed try and stay calm and relaxed and rationalized the situation. Think will I still care in 5 years time. Stress can exacerbate into anger issues and snapping at people. So try and think to be polite. If people are being inconsiderate they are not thinking about people's feelings. People are a lot more self focused and less respectful and unsympathetic. Dont take it personally what people say or do. Dont show a weakness I know from past experiences. That it is easy to attract bullies if you look vulnerable. Or people might like to laugh or makes jokes at people's expense to feel better about themselves. It's their problem they are just being immature and enjoying acting superior to boost their self esteem. There are loads of videos on UA-cam about dbt and cbt therapy. Ignore drama and you will feel calmer. If people are being rude just say excuse me lets keep it polite. But dont go down to their level and be rude back . Because they will be even more nasty . And you will be being as immature as them. It best to always carry yourself with dignity . And be confident and happy and believe in yourself. Be tough life is rough if you get knocked down get back up again. Laughing is a good way to deal with stress. Trust your judgement If people show disrespect they lack respect. How people treat people tells you how much they think about you.
Stress is a enemy in our life that we how to kill every time to avoid the risk of damage ourselves

Does anyone have a good resource or site for helping my kids with coping skills and mental health?
Yes… www.preparemykid.com … I watch the lessons with my two kids and we all laugh at the videos, but then talk about them in a way that my kids actually learn and get great takeaways. They have videos for mental strength and also school and financial lessons.
