I just watched this today Labor day Monday 9/4/23, after I heard of "Se Joe"'s name mentioned in the "Kalalou Signature" restaurant premiere video that Guy Wewe showed us. And decided to look Se Joe here and this video is hilarious. I am 13 minutes into it and find it very funny. this is like watching an HBO special with Kevin Hart, same style, audience, ambiance and professionalism - only difference is that the star is one of us - a Haitian brother. so much respect man. great job you are doing. @SeJoe: you’re very talented and super funny! One caveat-we can do better to push the bilingual agenda in Haiti. Creole is our language and reflects our culture, se vre. Historically we know how the colonizers language crippled us. But where are we today? If we want to compete globally, how are our young people gaining the communication skills to compete? Who else on the global market speaks Haitian Creole? Again, our young people are so capable of learning more than one language. We need to change the narrative.
I respect his stance on language: American comedians speak to their audience in English… who speaks to his people? I’m sure he’ll eventually venture into bilingual comedy. But man oh man I’ve never heard this level of comedy in Creole. All Haitian comedians are the likes of Tonton Bisha… Sejoe is top notch!!!😂😂😂
