      Test for insulin resistance:
      • Fasting insulin test
      • HOMA-IR test
      • ADIPO-IR test
You will find that you have high insulin levels.
This is the source of your fertility problems.
Once you confirm with those tests, beging to treat the insulin resistance.
There are many ways to treat insulin resistance.
In my opinion, the fastest, safest, least costly, and most reliable way to treat insulin resistance is through diet.
If you keep your total carbohydrate intake below 20g/day, you will reverse your insulin problems in two to six months.
You will see rapid improvement in your infertility symptoms.
Be aware: taking medicines that change your hormones can slow down the effects of the diet.

Can endometrisis ( not endometrosis) cause infertlity? I was diagnosed with that via an endometrial biopsy im 36 years old. im currently on 2 week course of doxycycline. Will the treatmemt cure it? Or will i still have the inflammation? Thank you. Also i have had 1 miscarriage and 1 chemical last year. And it seems like since the miscarriage 7 months ago have not been able to conceive again. Could the endometrisis be the cause? Thanks

Hi Doctor appreciate you. We had a easy first pregnancy and of an amazing 3-year-old. We've been trying for a second for about 2 years now. I got my sperm tested and everything was in "normal"parameters but I'm sure I can continue to improve. Unfortunately we had a miscarriage after getting naturally pregnant in December. Ended at 6 weeks. We waited and then quickly got pregnant again end of March but now it's not looking like it's not going to be viable. This one got to 9 weeks. We feel like we're improving, but we want to know if there's some kind of underlying cause and something's missing. My wife is very healthy, gets enough sleep, has a healthy weight, exercises, we do acupuncture. We don't use any plastics. We eat healthy. Neither one of us drink or smoke or use any drugs drug. She's 37. I'm 35. Would love some guidance.

I have PCOS and I have gotten pregnant in my early twenties, which all ended in miscarriage, but nothing in the last in years. And for the last ten years I have had large blood clots and for about a year now, I am always spotting and every few days I have large clots again and then back to just spotting. I am wondering what causes the blood clotting.

Hello doctor, I had a healthy baby in 2020. Then I had two miscarriages 7 & 5 weeks. No heart. After they did tests I saw I have 3.5 thyroid antibodies. They put me on levo 25mg. Daily. My levels went down to 2.5 but now they are 3.1 again. They found and removed a polyp in 2023 September. We’ve been trying to conceive since January tracking ovulation and no luck. My husband did a semen analysis test. Results show sperm count 52 mil. Sperm motility 27% , sperm morphology 3%. Doctor said it’s bad and we need to retest next month. We have appointment to talk about what we should do. If numbers don’t change should we try ivf or iui? We don’t have enough money to do ivf if that really the only choice at the end? What about my miscarriages what do you think caused them? My husband has stressful job and is overweight but he is trying a healthy life style now to improve his sperm quality. Please tell us what we should do?

So for 38years no pregnancy. Relationship of 15years with sane guy who had 4 children prior to us. Got in new relationship and 4years into it I hot hurt at work and was given prednisone for 2 weeks then given a shot of prednisone at that 2 week
Mark. And low and behold I was feeling menopausal (my mom went through menopausal at 38 so that's what it had to be but test came back we were pregnant... Gave birth one day before my 40th bday to a perfect lil boy. Fast forward he's about to be 4 in July and no luck giving him a lil brother or sister... I'm not getting any younger lol and it seems like the prednisone strengthened my uterus or something? Any ideas or feedback? Thanks soo much ♥︎

This seems like it was an immune issue and the prednisone allowed your uterus to let implantation happen.

If you are serious about following the diet, here is some more information you need to know:
      1) Transition period
Expect certain symptoms during the first two or three weeks - low energy, headaches, mood swings, anxiety, disturbed sleep, muscle cramps, diarrhea, strong cravings for breads, rice, fruit, sweets.
Each person will experience different symptoms.
I will help you understand why they happen and what to do:
      A) Low energy, headaches, mood swings, anxiety, disturbed sleep, cravings
All of these symptoms can happen because you will be detoxifying from sugars.
These symptoms can last from 2 to 10 days depending on each person.
There is very little you can do about it except endure. It will go away naturally with time.
*_DO NOT GIVE IN TO THE CRAVINGS_*
If you have a craving for something sweet or some bread, you need to quickly eat some food that has fat and protein - eggs, meats, butter/ghee, etc. For the first two weeks, you should never allow yourself to be hungry. This will invite strong cravings.
If you endure, these symptoms will lift, and you will begin to feel very good.
      B) Muscle cramps
This comes from lack of eating salt.
Be sure that you are adding salt to all of your meals.
      Always, always, always add salt.
Do not be afraid of salt on this diet.
      C) Diarrhea
This happens because your body is not used to processing so much animal fat.
      This is only temporary.
      Your body will adjust.
If you have diarrhea for more than 10 days, try reducing the animal fat a little bit at a time.
      Important notes about the diet:
      *_DO NOT RESTRICT CALORIES_*
This is not a starvation diet.
Your body needs lots of nutrients in order to recover from PCOS/Endometriosis.
      Eat whenever you are hungry.
When you eat, eat until you are *_very_* full.
This means that some days you will eat four or five large meals.
But other days you might only eat once.
Just go by how your body is leading.
Just be very, very strict to stay under 20g carbs per day.
You might gain weight during the first two weeks, but after that, you will start losing any extra body fat at about 2kg/month even if you are eating big meals every day.
You do not need to exercise to receive the benefits of this diet.
Exercise will certainly help, but it is not necessary on this diet.
Do not overburden yourself with trying to exercise.
Focus on adjusting to your new diet first.
Once you are comfortable with your new way of eating, then consider short walks.
      Let your body lead.
If you feel very energetic and motivated one day, do any exercise you like.
      Walking, yoga, stretching, swimming, etc.
Do not be complicated about it.
Even something as simple as finding a heavy object in your house and lifting it up and down is good.
If you don't feel like you have energy to exercise, don't. Just eat nourishing food and let your body heal.
Eating animal fat is *_EXTREMELY_* important on this diet.
When you restrict your carbohydrates, you need to get your energy from something else. This is where animal fat is important.
When your body is low on carbohydrates, it switches over to using up fat for energy.
This is the "secret" that makes this diet so good at healing PCOS/insulin resistance/Endometriosis.
      Do not fear fat.
It is full of nutrition, and it will be your main source of energy.
If you are feeling tired during the second month, it is a big sign that you are not eating enough fat.
The fewer carbohydrates you eat, the faster you will heal.
You can eat up to 20g carbohydrates per day.
*_BUT..._* If you want even faster healing, eat only 10g carbs per day.
      Or go even lower.
      The lower the better.
But it's optional. Whatever you feel like you want to do.
If you are still having strong cravings for breads, rice, sweets, fruits, etc after six weeks, consider doing a month or two of *_ZERO_* carbs per day.
This can act as a very, very, very powerful "reset" or "cleansing" for cravings.
This is what I had to do to finally get rid of the cravings.
My wife did not have to do this.
      Everyone is different.
Do not give up if you fail to maintain the diet. If you end up giving in to your cravings and eating lots of rice or fruits or breads or sweets, that's okay.
Just accept what you have done, forgive yourself, and begin the diet again.
      You do not need perfection.
      You need to practice.
      Eventually you will succeed.
Please know that I am not a doctor.
It is good to have regular check-ups with a doctor if possible.
I do have experience with this diet.
I have been eating this way for almost three years.
Eating this way has reversed my prediabetes.
Also, it has increased my fertility.
It took my wife and I two years before she conceived our first child.
Then we changed to this diet.
We waited for just over one year.
Our second child was conceived on our first attempt.
