Unlike the west, women get married and have kids and a big, loving family at a young age. While women in the west are convinced that their job, careers is everything that matters and should be their main priority in life. By the time they're 40 they realize that they have been lied to all along. Now they're lonely unable to get married or have kids, living a miserable life with a cat or dog to keep them sane.

Afghanis are warm, friendly and family oriented. I’ve taught many Afghani children and have always enjoyed getting to know their families. It made my heart sing to look at a sea of chocolate brown eyes when they sat for story time and tuition, knowing that their families had been through hell to get here, but that they were safe now.

They brought camels, and used their desert survival skills to take supplies from Adelaide in South Australia to Alice Springs in the Northern Territory.
(NT was still part of SA at the time).
That's why we have thousands of camels living in the outback.

Travelled in Afghanistan in 1973 as a 17yr old kid, after being there for a week you realize the people are as tough as nails and very smart in general, to think you could control that country was and is pure fantasy.

Was reading Forty Rules of Love by Turkish/British author Elif Shafak recently, the Islamic culture is fascinating and not evil like western propaganda portrayed. I don’t believe in condemning a person or an organization just because of some differences in beliefs or value systems, it’s more important to understand people’s intentions than accusing them on only on their actions, otherwise there wouldn’t be a single redeemable soul left on earth.

There are literally no women in the background either you know when he goes to other countries and there are women in the background walking and going about their lives. It seems like in Afghanistan they’re invisible! Believe me I’d love to visit the country but as a woman for this very reason I am afraid of visiting. If there are no women around how am I meant to feel safe in such a country??
