As a very heavy listener of techno, Renard has by far one of the most original beats seen since the early 90's Cosmic Gate or Tiesto are the closest comparisons I can think of .Renard is a whole new level of artistry by mixing unique beat patterns and even changing core tempo throughout the song ( a techno classification is normally done by core BPM) using beat tones creates something I want to hear again and again. Renard you are a DJ master.
I can remember listening to this back on laptrax foxcamp in 6th grade when other music means were blocked. This was like my favorite shit and I wish I could back to then and find all the good music.
Tbh it's really hurting (even just from the perspective of a fan) that you generalized Ren's work by saying "neon furries" I mean, for most fans Ren's music & artwork is more than just "neon furries", 'cause basic furry ass shit is not isn't an option here

Even so, i'd say there's better music falling under this category. I'm not judging the people listening this, im just judging the music out of my own experience.
This sounds like something from Crash Bandicoot. The style of Marc Baril and NegaRen has some similarities that can be heard especially well in this song.
Most 'prolific' music stars make, maybe, as many as 100 songs. Most 'popular' ones make maybe a couple dozen. Good ones? On average, less than half of what gets on an album actually sells those albums. Renard's channel alone has almost 300 tracks, and his hit ratio is so high, the misses barely get noticed. When some artists get an 'epic', it's celebrated, from Renard anything less than 'epic' is a disappointment. And honestly, I think that's the way it should be. Overall, Renard is Win. ftR
I would argue that a lot of their newer works are still really outstanding, but they definitely don't have the same personality and "sound" that the older ones used to have in them, and I really do miss that aspect. But, it's good that they make what they enjoy
