It sucks that the combat peaked after Kiryu "retired" as a yakuza protagonist, yes Gaiden exists but it couldnt match what LJ has. We're probably never getting a Kiryu game with Lost judgment level of combat at this point

After Kiryu beat Cancer, he found out that the radiation employees were planning to contaminate the water supply to various Ex-Yakuza figure heads to solidify RK's domination over Japan.
This is the only time where brawler wasnt one of the main styles because it wouldnt make sense for him to use it since it was an unrefined version of his OG DoD style
Now this is the KIWAMI 4 If Kiwami 3 to 5 ever happens I wish for them to use the Lost Judgement engine, but instead of having the enemies ragdoll in the air, they should get sent flying at mach speed base on the direction of the said attack or instantly get sent to the ground with the screen or controller shaking to show how much stronger the legendary yakuza characters are.
Those who want an LJ-style battle of Kiryu should wait for kiwami 3,4,5 to come out. It might be announced soon, not too far away, as Yokoyama made indirect references to kiwami 3. Did you happen to see the Battle of the Pirates Gaiden? The battle looks as smooth and striking as the LJ. I'm sure the battle of kiwami 3 is just as good as it is.
Even though it would be cool to see Kiryu with Lost Judgement combat, (without mods), let's be real, the game would be way shorter if Kiryu was the protagonist in Lost Judgement.
@@darkmaster2899 The Post Gaiden Yakuza 4 isn’t really my favourite. The dynamic of Saejima and Kiryu being Yakuza or Ex-Yakuza while Tanimura and Akiyama were civilians which showed the two sides’ ability to work with one another. Whereas this doesn’t hit the mark.

I really want to see Kiryu in real time combat with full Lost Judgment potential. It would be so cool
Fr that's like the reason why i was so excited for Gaiden but the one we got was only slightly better than Judgment's combat

God its beautiful makes me want to install LJ again. The only thing is beast feeling to quick it makes it to OP should be more like kaito’s style.
