Car owner ku oru suggestion, neenga matha brezza owners ta ketu andha second gear problem ah rectify panunga. Might be driving skill upgrade theva padalam.
I own the same vehicle.
But I didn't see 2 gear problem.
I have better mileage 17 km. Speed limit is 80 to 100 km . Some minor issues are there . But other wise car is good

No problem in 2nd gear in my car...crusing 100 is normal....only problem is steering feedback at high speed...breaking u have to apply break first then press clutch
don't expect everything in less budget car , then you should go to toyota fortuner for 40 lakhs

I dint see any issues with gears. Body roll yes it is there. Mileage it is expected, my average is 13.9 without smart hybrid. 2013 model. Power delivery is better, because I have a 1.2 litre dizire also, comparatively brezza flies easily and as you said it floats. On highways I felt a slow very linear power build-up from 4th to 5th gear. Overtaking still we need to plan well. But I feel more confident in dezire than brezza. I drive mostly between 100-120 in highway. Obviously dzire 2015 model is more stable than brezza. May be its because of the sedan and suv technical differences.
Owner ku car pathi oru dash um theriyathu pola. Complaining all the time about Brezza. First she should learn to drive instead of bombarding with complaints. RangeRover vangatha kadupula kumuritu irukan pola

Breeza is a pakka fam car with moderate perfromance. Indha budgetla ivlo dhan irukum. If ground clearnace is more then body roll iruka dhan seium.
