    Omg thank you so much for sharing this video, I can’t wait to make my skirt like that. I have been trying to make one before and I gave up, I couldn’t fit in it’s and the fabric was not stretched either. Been 10 year, and haven’t make one again because I did mine, cutting the pattern and fabric and sew it’s in the machine, and didn’t fit me at all....but now I see how you did it’s before sewing it’s. I love how you made your skirt and by hand first! And them sewing it’s next. Thank you so much. I’ll try again just like you did your way.. thank you💕💕💕

    I really like it, I like the way you made it longer too, so that you can wear a really modern skirt without showing too much leg. I have made this pattern too, I just need to get around to making it.

    Thank you for an excellent video and also for the fantastic English translation! It was very good to see the seamstress had taken off her high heels....it's sometimes better to be comfortable than beautiful!!!

    I am in love with this skirt but when I tried to save this tutorial I get a response that the site is no longer available. Can anyone help?
    Also, how do you finish the curved section on the front and how wide is the hem allowance?
    Great thanks. What a treat to learn from an obviously professional pattern designer.

    Very good tutorial. She says she will add a welt to the front. Does that translate to a turned hem? Thank you.

    • @karinkiltz5626
      @karinkiltz5626 5 років тому

      I believe she was referring to an upturned hem in the back, and I think a small facing for the curved edges of the front. You could possibly use self fabric bias tape if the fabric is not bulky.

    Love this pattern. You said you was going to line it with lining in the back and something else in the front can I ask what that was. Didn’t quite understand thank you

      Hello! Thank you for your comment! Just watched the video.. I think she meant lining up the wrap in the front.

    Hi there. Do you have a video on how to take measurements with your 10measurements to make a pattern? I'd like to see how you did it. I do love your concept. I'm very new to your channel. But I'm enjoying the way you go into details. Thanks. I have an idea of sewing but you've opened my eyes to certain things. Please let me know and thanks again for sharing.

    Beautiful skirt...how do you finish the top edge of skirt, at the waist? Did you actually line the back, as you said at the end of the video? Did you insert a zip at the back?

    How do you make a pattern especially for a stretch fabric? I made this skirt with stretch fabric but it falls down while wearing it.

    • @karinkiltz5626
      @karinkiltz5626 5 років тому

      Garments in stretch fabric usually need less ease, sometimes negative ease. You can Google "ease" in sewing garments and learn more.
