@@arnoldblashak171 ???.. oh no .. it's good.. but War ( Lowrider Band) are Bomba.. their vocals have the feeling of despair and urgency of the times in the 70s.. I like Los Lobos..but they'll tell you what I said.. orale
Because I love the version by W ar so much I was a little standoffish to hear this. But this version just blows me away!! Seriously is this a masterpiece and I love it! Thank you for posting!
Excellent as always, can’t wait to see them at outlaw music festival. These guys make East LA the only part of the Hollywood area with la Familia. Bless them
I like the cover as much as the original By War. Excellent remake Los Lobos When my brother was growing up He had your album and he was learning all the guitar parts. He was in a band called the Blue Satins
My musical tastes vary from grateful Dead to Yo Yo Ma, Frank Zappa, Johnny Guitar Watson, Chick Corea and Return to Forever, Herbie and Miles, Coletrane and Mingus..... I've seen every single performance Derek Trucks has made in the San Francisco bay area.... Derek trucks band, Soul Stew, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Allman Brothers Band, Eric Clapton..... Ive seen him every time he's been here...... all that being said Los Lobos is the best band on the planet in my opinion. I have ZERO mexican blood in me but they draw me to Mexican heritage. The music, the food, the beaches, the culture. Los Lobos transforms me to another place like no other band has ever done. The last time they played Redding CA they blew the roof off of the Cascade Theater. Their next performance there is 6 months away but I have my tickets hanging on my refrigerator.
@@gregfechik4275 i’m not done. For four years while Trump was in office Los Lobos toured, made records, and prospered. How dare they complain about the Trump presidency. I hope they are happy paying five dollars a gallon for gas in their tour bus. And one more thing, the latest release sucks. They will never do another Kiko
As long as people love this band something is right with the world
Yup
The Lobos or War?
yup@@ugoewulonu4936
@@ugoewulonu4936 Hell, both
One of my all time favorite songs being covered by one of my all time favorite bands. It don't get no better than that.
This is one of the best remakes of a classic 70's song I've heard! Trippy and a bit psychedelic.... great guitar work boys!
ELA at it’s best! Muchas gracias. Los Lobos never disappoints. Native Sons, what a gem!
Excellent. I saw War twice in the 70's and smoked lots of good herb listening to War jam. Love this version but I have always liked Los Lobos.

The greatest band. Period!
Man, It was Colossal Head that hooked me but every single album that comes out is stellar. This one just blows me away.
Los Lobos throwing down some War.. LBC via East LA...
I think Los Lobos has the best rendition

I wish LL could do more albums like this . EXCELLENT !
world class David Hidalgo!
Sounds Good , but correction. the singer on the original War recording was

Favorite song from album
Very cool......love the guitar work from David...... Orale'
The original one is out this world, but this version is very nice.
Man, that is sweet stuff.
So nice. I the middle of the song they hit that sweet spot. Just groove so hard. Damn
Not bad for a little band from East El Lay. I remember seeing them playing for free in Lincoln Park.
Love your guys version wow awesome 😂la familia
Wow. Amazing performance. Rare in 2021.

These Hombres never seize to amaze me.
Miss Steve Berlin tho.
Miss Steve ?? That’s Steve playing the Sax Solo on this ..
@@broozebrothers cool
I thought he had left the band a few years ago
@@wolfebeardsnarl5691 nope....
Steve Berlin just (graciously, as always) gave a great acceptance speech on the Grammy stage for their stellar love-letter-to-L.A. album: Native Sons
Would be cool if they play this track on their next tour.
Amazing Harmony !
I like the cover as much as the original

Do we do covers? Oh yeah baby, we can cover the waterfront! Call Little Willie anyway!
Bueno cover!
Exelente🎉.
Tiene algunas influencias de Santana y Jamiroqui en la intro?.
who plays vocoder?
I was a fan until I found out they were Trump haters.
I just gained more respect for them!
And what about them, made you think that they would be in line with Donalds world view?
