This was an informative video! I didn't know the history of roller coasters went back that far. I just discovered the series today, and I'm curious to see the series through.
im so invested in the most random things ever😭 history of money history of trading history of medicine, paleolithic (stone ages, bronze ages,) all that😭
Actually, your pronuntiation of Rutschebanen wasn't far off. The only thing you got wrong was how you pronounce the A. Fun fact: In danish, the word "Rutschebane" both means rollercoaster and slide.
I know I'm echoing a ton of other people but this was so well done, the audio is good, the music isn't too loud (and I love that song from Undertale!) and it was really interesting and well-paced. I can't wait to watch the rest of this series!!!
I can already tell you're going to get many, MANY more subs. Very glad to be number 813. This is an excellent series, and I'm so excited to watch all your videos. Great, great job.
@@JNattyBoi You're very welcome! Thank you! It was just something I picked out at random a long time ago, combining two things I love to make a name. It's just stuck around the past however many years.
Hang on, I could have sworn there were several other side friction coasters still operating. There's the one at bakken, there's one at that Park in Finland that also has taiga, and there's two in the uk.
This has a criminally low about of views, this incredible production quality can't go unnoticed for long!
I discovered your channel yesterday and I wanted to say it's amazing!
dude. you give us amazing rct content AND incredibly specific history? i’m feeling a bit spoiled right now
PIANO CONCERTO NO 1?????? YOU ARE AMAZING
Dude this is so good! Well done :)
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed :)
Nicely done! EXTREMELY informative!!! I VERY MUCH look forward to seeing more of this series!!!
This was fantasic, you're a great narrator and the documentary itself was wonderfully done
Great channel and excellent content. Keep up the good work, you just got yourself a subscriber.
Thanks so much! The support means a lot, appreciate it
This is so good🔥👌🏻
There is a 100 years old Scenic Railway in Hungary, standing but not operating for 5 years. They want to reopen it sometime in the future.
what is its name?
@@tufab3494 Hullámvasút. This literally translate to roller coaster
theres also a switchback railway ramily coaster still around a uk park known as journeer thrillseekers
Your voice is just MMMMM
Hahaha why thank you
Why didn't you include the Wildcat at Lake Compounce in Bristol, CT.
You forgot to put Theme Park World among the games :(
Still a very good video
Thanks! Never played it myself, can't tell which category it would fall into in the video
Just imagine what if there's no roller coaster at all i think my life today was suck
I do not go on Side Friction coaster 1, it,s dangerous.
Checking your channel after your real-life RCT coaster video. An interesting coaster history right here! Hope algorithm god with sees this.
Glad you liked the vid! Thanks so much, the algorithm gods are quite finicky I hear
Quite possibly the best series on roller coasters on UA-cam. I’m excited for any possible future parts!!
Thanks so much! I've gotten behind on this series but am hoping to release Part 5 within the next few months :)
@@JNattyBoi no problem, I look forward to its release!!
My guy really just put Thrillville in the same category as the Atari trash 😔
Hahaha sorry Thrillville fans, I was not a fan of that game at all
Very well done & quite interesting & informative. We give an A+.GM & GP
Thank you! Glad to hear you enjoyed it :)
A video proving how bullshit UA-cam can be. Absolutely fantastic video and it has a handful of views. GET THIS MAN MORE VIEWS FOR GODS SAKE
The theme park history buff in me is so excited that I was recommended your Rollercoaster Tycoon video!
I love the anime-esque outro music
good stuff, I subbed:)
Awesome, thanks for the sub!
@@JNattyBoi Well I mean your channel is cool and I liked your videos you deserve it
Greatly done video
Thank you SO much for your content!
Of course! Thanks for checking it out
In Dutch rollercoaster is Achtbaan, which would probably best translate to Figure-8 Circuit
There are two operating scenic railways in UK ..Margate and Great Yarmouth both with brake men.
Great vid!

Only thing I disagree with is calling thrillville a “other” computer game. Bruh, she’s nostalgic!
im so invested in the most random things ever😭 history of money history of trading history of medicine, paleolithic (stone ages, bronze ages,) all that😭
Okay. you won me over with this deep history. I will be watching you just... so much.
Actually, your pronuntiation of Rutschebanen wasn't far off. The only thing you got wrong was how you pronounce the A. Fun fact: In danish, the word "Rutschebane" both means rollercoaster and slide.
Yo, the quality of this video is insane. I really don't understand how you have this little subs. Nice video, really. Keep it up!
Thanks so much! Really appreciate the support :)
binging this whole series starting now
Awesome! Hope you enjoyed :)
The figure eight coaster like leap the dips gave us the Dutch and German word achtbaan/achtbahh. Literally meaning eight tracks
This is incredibly interesting, such a great video!
Thanks so much!
If you are just for the Modern Wooden Rollercoaster's mom, skip to 7:04!
Just discovered your channel! keep up the good work!
Hey thanks Cedar Flags! Appreciate you coming by, big fan of your channel
I’d fw that 6 mph coaster ngl, I’m scared of higher speeds than that lol
les montagnes russes à belleville was not a coaster because it bet you a milllillion dollars if it were built today it would not classify as a coaster

Hey thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for the support
you should do a documentary on the mauch chuck railway
This may be the most underrated channel I have found. This is some high quality stiff, hope the algorithm shows others This gem of a video.
does anyone still build these ice slides?
i know this series is a bit old but it's so underrated! big fan!!
Excellent! So interesting! Great pictures, text, voice! Super! 👍

I laughed so hard with the part of looping coaster. 🤣😂 I wish they had a video footage back then.
There actually is! The quality is (as expected) not great, but here's the link if you want to check it out: ua-cam.com/video/nB8LH9ja_pc/v-deo.html

Well done sir. I’ve learned much from you from this video (and your RCT stuff too). I hope every comment here will lead you to more channel views!

i think youre thinking of coasters before side friction as there are 2 in the uk if that design
@@waveiscursed According to the RCDB, there are ten extant side-friction coasters left in the world.
