This is the best from boogsie, and , well played, Phase 2 ! I can't stop listening to it!
The SWEETEST GROOVE on Jouvert Morning 2012!!!! Watching and every time I hear this performance by Phase II Pan Groove, always brings tears to my eyes...never fails. Though they placed 2nd in the Finals, de Phase will ALWAYS by my Number 1 ONE SteelBand!!!! Much love!!! ENJOY!!!!

Whats up zeeb, yeh i know them guys was tornadoes men before they went to skiffle, dubby is a double tenor man of real class, i went home in 2010 but didn't see either of them, every- one has moved on. Take care mate.
Nah! This is perfect the tempo is just where it needed to be. No hurry pan fellas, we need the distinction in the notes, a punctual groove and dynamism throughout. I imagine in the beginning it seemed slow but that is just the set up. The story being told unfolds around 3:00 in and by 3:56 de Phase was on fire here

@sftyou man yuh right i don't know music that good but the sound of phase 2 instruments was off they sounded as though they needed tuning, or were from 1970 but is meh band and meh shirt on the way to me as we write.
the entry into the verse wasn't strong 1:26 or it was muddy. But wonderful arrangement. loved the intro
I could be wrong but i could see Harvey (oss) playing next to Junior (soldier) in the frontline, 2 original hitters from the south (skiffle), What going on oss, its the old dookie, reply to me if you see this comment, i see you still have some form, for boogsie to put you in front of phase 2.

@takethatandcoolit A crap song ???????? you have to be a madddd person this was the best MUSICAL piece of the night....hands down boogsie is THE BEST and MOST TALENTED pan arranger alive....u have to be deaf or devoid of any musical understanding to call this crap...
It should be about the music. I love All Stars but Phase II was much better and should have easily been the winners.
This arrangements has some great moments but it does not really tie together gracefully. It sound like parts are out of place or fillings. I would like to hear thiis song done is a differnt key for the tone of the pan. I would probably say a strong key like "A" it was too many weak areas to beat Allstars.
