Thank you! The full set of US pieces took months, spending a few hours here and there. I'm now 3 years into the process, and still have much to do (finish Japan, and do Germany, UK, Italy, and France). I'm loving the process, and am really learning a lot though!
@@mdt260 Really great work! Yea im doing the same thing when creating and spend a few hours when i can. Im in the process of painting minis for the Rome Rising Empire game i just made, but it take so long i will probably use the unit tokens for now. Check it out if you want on my UA-cam profile :)
Very nice units painted like this, but I tried once and my nerves don't let me do a job that stable, so I ended up just defining some features of the units with special gray and white ink pens and at least they look better.
@@lorenzobetancourt5559 I myself actually have shaky hands as well, and so it can be difficult. What I've found is (1) don't be afraid to mess up a paint job on a unit, as I've got plenty more I can try again with and (2) with practice, I've found I can often steady my hands, with either my other hand, or something else. I'm sure it doesn't work for everyone's situation, but I've been pleasantly surprised at the results 😉
love the detail Matt; the game is so much more enjoyable with painted pieces; it just brings the game to life; all inspired by dtroy, DK and so many others....... BTW what was the scale of your sherman tanks from GHQ?
Very nice. Thanks for sharing. You are quite the painter for sure. Will be completing my US in the next few weeks too. Really like your paint scheme
Thanks Lt. Dan! I'm just soaking up all the learning I can, just like so many others👍
@@mdt260 I hear ya.... take the best from all and make it your own
Dude... This is insane... Insane good work!! Im fascinated and scared at the same time.
Thank you! I surprised myself with how good these turned out😉
Wow that looks amazing. Must have taken forever, and that is just one army :D
