You awake as a cat, yet for some reason, this doesn't bother you. You aren't home either, but instead a lush forest. You stand and stretch, hiking your back then stretching out your rear legs. Your paws crinkle through the dried leaves on the floor, leaving behind a fine dust that flows away through the gentle wind. Just as you are about to pounce, it catches your scent and quickly scurries away. You can't lose it now! You immediately start running after the mouse, your body moving methodically, calculating the right time to ensure its capture. You've nearly got it, when all of a sudden there is something way more intriguing than a mouse. You stop in your tracks, head raised high to catch the scent. Your ears perked up straight and pointy. You follow the interesting scent, slow, and careful. It's another cat! You hold your ground, staying as still as you can to not frighten the other. She looks at you with wide, curious eyes. Her tail sways as she cautiously steps closer toward you. She tilts her head closer toward you, sniffing your nose. After getting a whiff of you, she quickly nuzzles her head against yours as a show of affection. Happily, you nuzzle back, circling each other and tails intertwining. You spend the next half hour sweetly grooming each other and enjoying each ones company. She yawns a heavy, comfy yawn, which prompts you to do the same. All curled up in a fluffy ball, you both decide to take a short nap in the suns warm rays and leafy spotted shade. When you wake, you're back in your bed. Was she in the same surreal situation as you? As you approach the newly discovered friend, you hear a mouse in a close range. Instintively, you get low to the gound to catch it, slowly approaching it, you pounce! holding a snack in your mouth, you continue to approach the other cat and set it down in front of her as a welcome to eat. As you walk away, you notice she has started to follow you. Feeling quite brave and adjusted to your feline body, you start to climb a tree to see if she can catch up. going through the small branches and delecate twigs, you lay down on a thick branch to rest. And by your surprise, the other feline has already caught up and started to go higher. Feeling rested enough, you start to follow her. She seems to know her way around the tree as she is making sharp turns, daring jumps, and weird tactics to get to the top. She finally lays down at the top of the tree, and noticing you caught up to her, she walks further on the branch to give you room to lay down as well. Tired and unexpectedly filled with adrenaline, you get on the branch and start to claw at the branch below you. You both lay there quietly, in peace, at the top of a tree.
