Nice Explanation. Can I published just the data source and have user built the report by dragging columns and generating the report ? similar to Cognos framework
Fantastic Video! My client has provided excel which contains details about the the .rdl, .rsds and .rsd files but yet to share the files with us. They mentioned that they want to migrate it to Power BI. As per my understanding .rdl files are paginated reports which is already created in SSRS. We just need to call the .rdl files in Power BI using Get Data option to convert it to Power BI. Please correct me if I am wrong. I never worked on SSRS and client wants to convert it to Power BI so I don't have much knowledge about it. So please explain!
Hi, I used my Power BI data set as data source in the report builder. I had 2 tables linked by an ID in my PBI data set but this connection didnt flow to the report builder app. How can I fix this? Thanks!
Thanks for sharing this video. If we get a print of a paginated report, does it show the fully table content (Assuming that there is a table view with a scroll bar)? Please assist. Is there any other way to do this, other than having Premium Capacity or embedded capacity?
Hi, thanks for the video. I don't see the Paginated Reports Preview option in my Workload configuration. Is that because of the type of Premium license? I have a EM3 license. Thank you!
Fantastic vedio. Thank you. Hope you will keep posting!

It was great thanks for sharing.
So I was right! MS is rebranding it's almost outdated SSRS with the Power BI shell just to generate static reports!
if a have a large data set that contains million of data can i still use paginated power bi to display them ?
What is the recommended way of creating a data set from multiple tables in the data source (Analysis Services tabular model)?
Very nice explanation!

Can you explain how you would consume a published paginated report from an api sending parameters for the query?
Thanks for the video can you put more videos on report builder
Thanks for the tutorial, it was great for starting.
If the paginated reports get deployed into power bi report server, in that case we don’t need premium or embadded capacity right?
Power BI Report Server requires Premium (or SQL Server with Software Assurance) :)
Thank you for the great videos !

Hi, Yes, unfortunately we need Premium license for enabling paginated reports.
Super.
Mate, why did u use Qlik theme tune in the beginning? 😄
:), it is not, it is something given with Camtasia.
Thank u...
You should say the title Create paginated report with report builder not Power BI ....very very misleading
I dont think so, yes it is via Report Builder but this is how Microsoft enables paginated reports in PBI
