As an 'animator' that basically works via bootleg rotoscoping, this is a lifesaver. I just did in 10 minutes what took me a month to do manually last time. Thank you so much!
Thank you very much! this was very informative. I've been trying to do this using VLC and it just didn't work. I've been pulling my hair out trying for hours. Your tutorial worked first time thank you
This is how i remaster my old 35mm movies. Every frame done by AI upscaler and image enhancer. Yes, you can do it with the entire video but in this situation you can check frames for some defects or other errrors. thx man 👌
I have seen few video for video to images through VLC, but that did not work for me - This is an excellent video and you have describes in very details, & it works like a magic, Thanks for this excellent Video.
Brilliant Stuff, most Tubers just point people to the stock standard software that is much more complicated and quite frankly only available with subscription. This is great and works perfectly.
Thank you! I think you need this video for that: Image sequence to video clip in Shotcut | Shotcut Tutorial 2020 ua-cam.com/video/MkY6ZJ7TdvQ/v-deo.html
Thanks for your perfect tutorial video..how we can do this like you did in this video?i mean cutting you only in the bottom of video?do you have any video for this?thanks again
Thank you, I am using a greenscreen behind me and I'm removing my background. That makes the video transparent. Then I resize it in the corner and overlay it on the video of the screen recording.
thanks for your fast reply. Yes, i did it for 10 second Video and then i get annyoed for longer videos. Camtasia should add this as an update :(@@Graphicious
Thanks so much!😁😁 Like that i can made my own "Ranma 1/2" pictures in 1920 x 1080 sizes at JPEG for my owns collection!👍🏻👍🏻I just dowloading Shotcut now!😁😁(In French because it's my country langage)
If you just want to export one frame, place your play head on the timeline to the frame you want, then File menu > Export > Frame (or CTRL + SHIFT + E) and save that frame as an image.
Thanks for the tip @Cristi! Could you share what kind of use case scenario you’ve had for this to be useful? I am curious to know if there are any use cases that I’ve overlooked 😊
Can't think of very many. There was a question and I tried to help. But I guess you could use it for things like having specific frames, creating stopmotion-like animation, re-assembling it with less frames, etc.
@@Graphicious makes sense! Another use case that comes to mind is that you could manually “trace” a video sequence to create something like a cartoon effect all though there are probably video editing plugins and tools that do this out of the box 😄
There is one more that I use it for. And that’s for photogrammetry. Usually you want to take photos for that purpose m, but video works as well if it’s 60fps .. that way it is not a blurry mess. And so with photogrammetry you can create 3D models of anything. I fly a drone at 4k 60 and I will use it to make 3D modes of beautiful houses or areas and put those into unreal engine and make a short movie, music video, and also for games.. etc. if anyone is interested look into agisoft metashape.. that program will take you’re still images and create 3D models. If you do want to try it out. Makes sure you takes images from all possible angles so that when metashape put it together, it has more data to add to you’re model .. and it won’t be missing anything from that model, otherwise your model will look really messy .. because it doesn’t have enough data to add. Another program called reality capture already can take the video and can create the still images, and create a 3D model .. which will save you some time not having to use multiple programs …Have fun.
@@Graphicious I have followed the tutorial to change videos to images, but the process always stops at 21%, and the resulting image from the video is only 1

Nice one. What do you use for upscaling? I've been looking for something that's good. I tried Topaz but I was not impressed. And it killed my machine!
Sir thank you very much for this very helpful tutorial! You saved my life! This tutorial exactly what I needed.
Glad to hear that! Thank you for your comment!
Very helpful for me to start with my ML/DL models development for image recognition!! Thank you :)

Glad it was helpful!
Very useful! Thanks I tried with vLC didn’t work well, no w got to try with this method
Great to hear!
Thank you!
But how do I just take a single picture for example at the position, where I stopped the playback?
I managed it with cutting the whole track around that frame. removing everything before and after the frame to just get that single frame exported ^^
Doesn't this method save the files for you on disk? You find the individual frames there!
Wonderful video steps to do this, very helpful, thank you.
Great, nice to hear it helped
Thank you, Cristi!!
My pleasure.
Help me so much, thank you for share!
Happy to help!

Good Morning Sir. Is that also possible with Camtasia?
Not possible, except if you export each frame manually - Ctrl + F - which is ridiculous.
thanks for your fast reply. Yes, i did it for 10 second Video and then i get annyoed for longer videos. Camtasia should add this as an update :(@@Graphicious
Yeah, it's something other people have requested but Techsmith isn't treating it as a priority at the moment, it seems.
Thank you!!
Happy to help!
Many thanks Cristi.
My pleasure
Can we control the frames to generate per second
I think it's up to the framerate of your project
Great tip 👍😃 Can we do the same in Camtasia?
Not really, Camtasia doesn't have such a function. You can only save individual frames, manually.
@@Graphicious ok Cristi ... it will be on my Camtasia wishlist 😉 along wirh Audiate in Danish

Yeah, that's another one, although you can technically do that on the video itself... depends on the app you use.
