National Stick Fighting Competition Called Off

There will be no National Stick Fighting competition for 2020.
The announcement came from the National Carnival Commission (NCC) on the heels of contention on Friday night in Arima, as stick fighters squared off with NCC officials over unpaid fees for the preliminary round of the competition.
The protest action by the bois men resulted in the Semi Final round never getting off the ground at the Arima Velodrome.
