Love my F7F, had it since it came out and have over 200 flights on it, perfect airplane for anyone, and size is great, presents so nicely on the ground and in the air, home run Flightline 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼and Motion RC 💥💥
i love this plane stock really scale power great handling i did reverse the motor direction from the box not sure if they all come stock that way landing gear is great stock never had an issue but i did upgrade because it is a heavy plane and suspension helps on hard runways that all said.... i made a bitt of a non recomemded mod to it. with the stock power system i converted it into a 6s plane a single 5000mah batt in the lower tray gets you spot on cg and with an adaptor so one batt goes to both engines i removed the issue of balancing 2 different batteries. at half throttle it flies like stock and i was only comfortable with this mod because there are redundant power systems 2 esc and each with a built in bec. i got 107mph with 6s on the super scale props and here is the warning.... one of my props lost a blade in a fast pass the vibration ripped the motor mount off the motor rotated itself in the cowling leaving molten plastic on the housing from rubbing against the cowling, the motor wires twisted themselves together and i was lucky they didnt short. i belly landed the plane in grass (with very minor damage resulting) motor was fine i repaired the cables and glued back the motor mount. i fixed the cowling with a 3d printed replacement. the plane flies again and i glued the props in when i screwed the hubs together and i have not had this issue i know im risking another prop failure so if you want to make it 6s do not use the super scale props. that said this plane was not made for 6s it says in the box 4s it was designed for 4s. it can handle 6s it but its a risk i take its not meant for it and i do fly it below half throttle most of the time because although i have not had issues with heat i dont want to risk it
You actually don't get two color schemes in the box. you get one. And it is the one that has white lettering. Only, it has the letters AZ and the number "3" and the word marines in white. I plan on running mine on 2 4S 5000 mA packs so that I can get seven minute flight times.
Hi james great flight and filming 👍 I run mine on 2 x 4s 4000mah lipos and get 8 mins flight every time and come down with 25% + left the upgraded gear is definitely a must bud ! Very pleased when tbobborap1 covered my flight on her

Yet, you'll notice that they stock and sell Futaba receivers AND a complete line of rebranded Lemon receivers that are ONLY DSMX compatible. Meaning they are receivers that are designed from the ground up to bind to and work with Spektrum transmitters. That kind of seems like promoting the continued use of a competitors brand to me, does it not to you?
Taking off with full flap is less efficient than using take-off flap so James is rather showing his ignorance of principles of flight. Take-off flap setting to full flap increases drag without improving aerofoil efficiency. Full flap is designed to increase drag to reduce airspeed in descent, allowing a steeper angle of descent. He then further demonstrates his ignorance by landing without any flap!
You eye balled rates? Don't you think as a representative of the company you should really be using correct terminology and telling people the appropriate way to setup planes not just eye ball things.

It doesn't even matter. In a bizarre turn of events, I just checked the website and it turns out that they actually include an instruction manual in the box when you buy this particular plane. This instruction manual tells you how to build the plane, the proper COG range, and in a shocking turn of events, it even tells you the factory recommended control throws. Hopefully Freewing and Flightline will start including an instruction manual in the box with all their planes from now on so people won't have to rely on a video to setup their planes! Keep your fingers crossed, buddy! 🤞
@@shelbyseelbach9568 i'm not concerned for myself, but new pilots generally look to the manufacturers and people that represent them for good advice and James advice is just poor sometimes.

Rates are different for everyone. Just go by what the manual says and adjust from that.
