Me too! But This feature is actually a good one, it's just annoying to get used to at first. I think they will take away the option to disable it in time though.
I turned it off and now it's asking me for a PIN I didn't set up in the first now. Now I can't sync my messages since this video asked me to turn it off first.
If I can see my encrypted chats on this device (and not on my new one) and I delete it, will it delete those messages. I have a device with all the messages, while it is not visible on other devices. I turned that option off and cannot remember pin. It gave the option to use temporary pin but I have since lost that option since I disabled it. 🤦♂️ Will deleting secure storage return this chat from the old phone?
Enabling or disabling encrypted chat's won't delete them. You just wont have access to new chats that have come through since you last unlocked the chat. If you delete secure storage you will delete all the conversations. I would reset the PIN and try again.
