god i love your vids they are really simple and clean the background the music 🎶 the way you talk it's just relaxing, all the other UA-camrs are like this tech this tech my 100000 backpack my what and that but yours are just 🖤
Love watching these videos, always so insightful to see what everyone is carrying. Seems like you are carrying a lot? Do you always rock this amount or do you run a smaller daypack too?
Thanks for the kind words Shamil! Yeah it is about 15kg fully loaded. I will travel to a destination with that, and then generally just take what I need on day hikes so its usually more like 8 - 10kg. I definitely leave things like my laptop in the hotel room!
😂I do, it's around 15kg. Once I've travelled to the country I am shooting in, I generally will leave things like my laptop in my hotel to try and minimise hiking weight. It's heavy but you get used to it and I figure it's good for your fitness!

I'd like to hear a bit more about why you like each lens and their pros/cons
Thanks for sharing the video Tom. Nice kit you have there.
Thanks a lot Adrian, ditto!

Great video Tom! Not the cheapest set of gear but you can see it gives good results!
Thanks, appreciate that Tomas!
Do u have a reason why you carry heavy lens like 70-200mm f2.8 instead of f4? Or maybe the Nikon 80-400mm, which cover a broader range of telephoto?
Good overview of your kit, would love to have the holy trinity but I tend to fill up the gaps between my focal lengths on foot🤷🏼♂️
Thanks Michael! Haha yeah thats definitely a cheaper way of doing it!
