Exactly. Every time Thrawn was foiled it was either because someone else fucked up, some Jedi nonsense he couldn’t possibly be expected to predict or a combination of both.
Fr. He can always win against anything and account for anything except when the Force is involved. It's the only thing in the galaxy that he cannot fully comprehend and thus he cannot always plan around it.
Emperor Palpatine: *_“I’m the ultimate villain and mastermind of everything in this franchise, always several steps ahead of everything and everyone… but how the fuck was I supposed to plan for a race of primitive teddy bears?”_*
If the Tie Defenders got mass produced. The Rebellion would’ve been cooked. This wasn’t a small victory. Not that a victory has to be big to tell a good story.
I mean it's only a "big" victory because we know how the story plays out. From the perspective of the characters in the story and the perspective of the two sides waging war, they could not have predicted just how important having a small superiority in individual fighter performance would be in the long run. The Empire still outnumbers the Rebels by factors of 10 in terms of ships and fighters. In every engagement leading up to the actual destruction of the Death Star the Empire overwhelms the Rebel in military strength. From their perspective, what do they need a better performing fighter for? There's no way they could have known how big of a difference it would have made.
Indeed, and if Thrawn had still been around for the Battle of Scarrif just a short while later, the Rebellion would likely have fallen to the Death Star very quickly upon it's completion.
There's already the Tie avenger/Tie advanced that given the imperial a opportunity to switch the most best New standard for the imperial navy but wait most of them are ignorent
It was arguably the biggest victory of all, significantly more than even Anakin/Vader’s sacrifice, because Ezra sacrificing a future with his parents and destroying the remains of the Lothal Temple stopped Palpatine from entering and taking over the World Between Worlds, which would have given him ultimate power and control over the entire universe.
Hera to herself realizing Kanan was dead "Why did I take so long to tell him?" She had already called him "love" so there was something else she wanted to tell him. Jason.
I never get tired of Ezra rejecting Sidious’ temptation and destroying the gate, knowing that Ezra won’t be the last young Jedi to defy the Emperor in the act of protecting his family.
Rebels is hands down some of the best star wars to date and it really saddens me that I know so many people that won’t watch it because they think it’s a kids show
It's crazy that the Emperor was *_so close_* to accessing the World Between Worlds and thus becoming an all-powerful god with absolute control over time, space, life, death, and reality itself *_TWICE_* this season, first in the episode of the same title and now here in the finale. Now that Ezra has destroyed the last remnants of the Lothal Jedi Temple, Palpatine will have to resume his normal, longer path to universal domination via the Empire, at least until he can find another access point to the World Between Worlds or unlock the secrets of the Force in another way. Consequently, this makes these last few battles in Rebels arguably the most significant in Star Wars history.
You can see Hera briefly put her hand over her stomach during the beginning. When we were watching, my sister caught it and wondered if she was pregnant. I didn’t think she would be given it’s a family show, and lo and behold was I wrong 😂
I love Rana's love for Ezra. She compared it to seeing her son grow up when season 3 started. And is now so proud of the commander he's become and was balling her eyes out at the idea of seeing her "son" die. Can't wait to see her reaction to seeing him again in Ahsoka.
The first time I saw this show, I thought it had pretty strong finales and premieres but after rewatching it, it's surprising how much of the show is actually Ezra learning a piece of this crazy finale plan. Also after solid confirmation that Hera and Kanan had been hooking up this whole time, it makes it more informative to see how Kanan reacts to Fen Rau putting his girlfriend in the hospital. You can see that Ezra's not just an "animal guy" but connects with everyone (including Maul). There's a lot going on in this show without a lot of fanfare. Also, Tales of the Empire is pretty great and worth consideration for you to see. There's no spoilers in there for anything you hadn't seen in Mando/TCW/Obi Wan.
If anything, Tales of the Empire would improve their experience of Ahsoka if they watch it first, given who it covers. It does seem they’ll go straight to Ahsoka after this however.
Or the people they love. Luke and his Jedi learned nothing from them or from the lessons that allowed him to turn Vader. Just a bunch of brain-dead losers.
This show was such a journey for me. When it was first announced, I was 100% against it because I was upset about The Clone Wars being cancelled (still am, by the way). But once it came out, I decided to watch just the first episode to see how it was. It was good enough that I decided to stick with it for a few more episodes, and then those were good enough that I got hooked. After the Season 1 finale, I proudly declared myself a Rebels fan! When Dave Filoni announced at Star Wars Celebration that Season 4 would be the last, I literally yelled, "No!" But it turned out to be a great season to end on! I think what I love most about Rebels is seeing how much the characters evolved over the course of the series. The show ran the entire time I was an undergrad in college, and I, too, evolved so much as a person during that time. I think about where I was at ten years ago and where the characters were at in the beginning, and then I think about where we all were four years later and all that had changed during that time period. I see Rebels as being synonymous with my personal growth, and for that reason, the show will always have a place in my heart! I'm excited to rewatch Ahsoka with you guys! It's some of my favorite Star Wars because of how authentically "Star Wars-y" it is! Plus, getting to see the continuation of these characters' stories after waiting five years was so satisfying for me! I hope you enjoy it!

He was keeping the whole ship in one piece with the forces while influencing the Whale's mind to bring them as far away as they could so that Thrawn would no longer be a menace to the rebels.
Rex was actually part of the operation with han solo and Leia against the shield generator on endor, he was in return of the Jedi (a retroactive identification).
That was a fun thing. A fan happened to notice that a background actor in Return of the Jedi looked very much like Rex, so Filoni put Rex into the ROTJ camo battle gear to look like that character. He's never claimed that really is Rex...but he played along with the fan theory.
Every time I watch Rebels or the ending again, that feeling always comes back and a tear comes from how beautiful this series is, thank you for watching, tremendous series, I hope you can see Ashoka series, How the Circle is Back! ♥greetings from Chile
My god it was so fun going through this series again. Rebels has always been a special show for me. I love the characters, the story beats, the music, (most of) the comedy and the worldbuilding. The show's not perfect and I get that some people will never like it but for me, it's one of my favorite shows in the franchise!
In Rogue One, you can briefly see live action Chopper at the Yavin base. You can hear Hera being called on the intercom, and you can see the Ghost flying and fighting in the space battle. ❤
Rebels is such a great show. The characters arcs, the stories and lessons, watching them gain ships, gain freedom fighters, the sacrifice. Its so damn powerful. Easily one of the best animated shows I've watched
36:00 guys, you are overthinking it. Emperor wanted Ezra to go through to the World between worlds, so he can get through too and get access to the power of time.
In the Clone Wars when Ventress and Obi-Wan escape from Maul and Savage, the brothers are exposed to vacuum briefly but Maul hits a button that casts a ray shield so that they can breathe and aren’t sucked out. Another thing in Revenge of the Sith when Grievous escapes from Anakin and Obi-Wan, Grievous breaks the glass which also exposes them to vacuum. 5 seconds later the emergency metal shielding deploys to replace the glass. That’s most likely what happened so that Ezra and Thrawn survive. If not for that then Ezra either projected an air bubble with the force or the Purrgil have a deus ex machina function that creates air for the characters
10:54 - The utter destruction of Lothal being inevitable: Thrawn's intention was to turn Lothal in the manufacturing center for the TIE Defender. He'd just been to the emperor to defend the program budget against a bigger program, the final year of Operation Stardust. But with the destruction of the fuel depot, Thrawn lost his project, and that leaves only one other on the emperor's short list for dealing with rebelling worlds: the Death Star. Thrawn was basically revealing that with this latest rebellion, Lothal will go on the Death Star's top ten list of planets to annihilate.
Ezra doesn't fall for palpatine's temptation because of the same feelings that the jedi counsel feared in Anakin. This new kind of Ronin jedi is way more resilient when facing the dark side because they truly KNOW life, so they truly know the force itself. The jedi order could never
Yeah as much as I love Rebels it’s definitely the thing where I get the most annoyed at the most annoyed at the Stormtroopers incompetence. It suffers from eh fact that it’s arguably aimed at a younger audience than Clone Wars and doesn’t have Clones to serve as cannon fodder so it’s far more rare for the good guys to take losses when it really should be the other way around.
You guys remember what Bendu told Thrawn at the end of season 3, right? "I see your defeat, like many arms surrounding you in a cold embrace." Bendu forsaw this happening, but specifically used the word defeat, not death. So, Thrawn might show up again in a future project 😏. Glad you guys enjoyed the series!
And here we are Family reunion and Farewell and what a finale i love this episode so much and it hits me hard in the feels everytime Ezra has grown so much sacrficing himself for his family, the rebellion and Lothal, we lose Gregor😥 the Prophecy of Thrawns defeat coming true and Kallus being taken to the Lasat homeworld just a perfect way to wrap up story threads but also left it open for Ashoka and so many epic quotes! I absolutley love the mural at the end Sabine seeing Ashoka.Awesome reaction guys loved being on this journey with you and just my favourite quote "Ezra's out there somewhere and its time to bring him home"😊
The scene between Sidious and Bridger is an overt temptation of the Devil where he appears as a kind, angelic looking figure offering something too good to be true bur as soon as the offer fails, the mask falls
Star Wars: Rebels is the best Star Wars show, period. People who wrote this off because of skinny light sabers and Aladdin comparisons really missed out on an incredible story.
I think destroying the factory on Lothal was a major victory for the rebels. If the Empire continued to invest in the Advanced Ties instead of the Death Star, there was no beating them. Sane with keeping the Emperor out of the World Between Worlds. But I agree that removing the Empire's presence was more symbolic than anything. But an important symbol.
I dare anyone to name a better couple in Star Wars than Kanan and Hera. It didnt get room to be expressed and explore due to constant battles but they have the most chemistry and love of any other couple.
Love all of your reactions! When whale mentioned at first time, tears fall down from my eyes because I suddenly remember what happened in the end. With this you can go to other series like Ashoka without worries. :D
You finally reached the end of the Rebles series, which I say it was the end because to me when I first watched it I really thought that was the end of Rebles until I heard that they were making a live action Ashoka series so I had hope that they would bring back the rebles characters and tey did and I was so happpy when they did that. I have been a long time Rebles fan since I was a kid and it's because of this series I got into the world of Star wars and while I understand that this series may not be the best and it's not like the og of the Star movies but to me this is probably my favorite Star Wars series that tops the Clone wars series. What I love about Rebles is that it has the action and the heartfelt moments where your introduced to these characters like for example there where some fans that didn't like Ezra because he was annoying to them . Which that the thing about watching this series like your going to say things like " I don't like this series because it's a kids series " and " this character is too anooying" like saying things like that you don't like, but as your watching these characters throughout the story they slowly start to grow in you and the best part of it all your not going to expect yourself to like this series or the characters . When it comes to found family series this is difently one of them and I say it like that because these characters are like a family and as you see how that family comes together from the beginning and towards the end you going to love them and the series. One of my favorite characters is definitely Kanann because he wasn't a perfect jedi who didn't complete his training and he thought he wouldn't be able to be a great teacher to Ezra, which that is what I love about season 1 with Kanan and the Grand Inquester where Kanan thought of himself as a coward because he couldn't save his master where he was afraid to fight for himself and remember when he thought the Ezra was killed by the inquestor, that's when he finally let go of his fears and fought back to protect him. I think back to Kanan final lesson to Ezra and that lesson and I think that lesson was all about leting go. This would have to be one Ezra last lesson to complete his Jedi training, see the reason why this applies to Ezra because Ezra was very close to be driven to the darkside and because what the empire did to his parents and being taken from a young age never to see them again made him have hate the empire and all of his pain is still there just like with Kanan when he lost Kanan he said it to himself that he felt lost without Kanan. He even said in the episode of World between worlds, that he wished he had changed his parents fate or Kanan's, as you can see from here even if Ezra is all grown up but he still has that pain inside of him since he was kid and he still couldn't let go to waht the Empire had done to his family and he hadn't let go of his parents even then. When being confronted by the Emperor who he gave Ezra a chance be with his family once again and it was there in that room was a test for Ezra to see if Ezra fianlly moved on or or not and it was at the moment Ezra saw that he didn't accept the Emperor's so called gift because he already knew that he has a family, that he had to learn by letting go of his parents would allow Ezra to move forward and whatever path he decided to walk. It's from here Ezra has grown and can finally walk towards his own path. He choose to sacrifice himself to deaft the Empire to save his home and save his family , and the family that he found from the beginning. 😢 Yeah I know I over did it with the writing but that what happens when you become attached to these characters. now if you excuse me I'm gonna go blow my nose from writing. Thank you for reading my message again and for being part of this long ride of this journey. 😊 May the force be with you and let it guide your heart wherever your go and find the peace within it. 💙💙💙 #ILoveStarWarsRebles
You can actually see Rex in Return of the Jedi now that it's been retconned. When they're taking the bunker, he's the old man with the white beard and I even saw a shot of him dressed up in stormtrooper armor under arrest.

“I see your defeat, a thousand arms holding you in a cold embrace”
Great journey with yall🎉🎉
Marketa still thinking of a possible plot point, won't say what.
The jedi order could never
17:45 this is the epitome of stormtrooper incompetence.
These guys are literally holding Ezra stationary in the air, and they STILL missed.
Ending was very well done. Nicely wrapped up.
One last time.
If you guys ever watch Return of the Jedi again, during the Endor battle scenes, there's a familiar white bearded face, in the background lol
We had to wait for years since the original run on Disney XD hoping Ezra will come back😂.
Palps: I CREATED THE INSTAGRAM FILTER!
Bros, if ya girl cries at the end of Rebels, it's time to put a ring on it.
15:57 and Rick was just The Door Technician
we are here love this show glad to have been part of your journey through rebels onward to more star wars
You guys remember what Bendu told Thrawn at the end of season 3, right? "I see your defeat, like many arms surrounding you in a cold embrace." Bendu forsaw this happening, but specifically used the word defeat, not death. So, Thrawn might show up again in a future project 😏. Glad you guys enjoyed the series!
thank you, Micky. you & Nahid were my favorite reactors in the Normies. ❤️❤️
Can't wait for Ahsoka!
"You guys saw Zeb?"
"Sorry Mickey"
And remember, the Force will be with you, always
Been Awesome watching Rebels with You guy's 🤘
I've said it once... I'll say it again. You watched the Platinum Standard for Star Wars.
The scene between Sidious and Bridger is an overt temptation of the Devil where he appears as a kind, angelic looking figure offering something too good to be true bur as soon as the offer fails, the mask falls
the decline of happiness from Rana is so funny 20:40
Ahsoka is Ahsoka the White like Gandalf...
Seeing the clones do what they do best, one last time. . .😢
Such an amazing finale, glad you guys made it all the way through and now it’s time for Ahsoka and bring Ezra home
And then we had to wait 5 years for the continuation.
I'm so glad it wasn't longer.
They’ve always been able to use the Force from across holograms. Vader did it several times in the OT.
15:15 it's both the original Palpatine and a clone. Palpatine transferred his mind and soul into a clone body.
KMSLOL I was going thru it so hard the first time around I don't think I REALIZED just how hard it got Rana 🤣 Same girl, same 😂
Great reaction, Normies. You're going to LOVE Ahsoka. Looking forward to seeing your reactions.
The bad batch is great, but slightly separated from the rest. So you probably should start Ahsoka at the same time.
Great lead into Ahsoka 😅
Guys, I am so so so happy to have taken this journey with you!!! Chris did the right thing, please go in blind to Ahsoka. I'm looking forward to it.
Rebels has aged like fine wine.
I dare anyone to name a better couple in Star Wars than Kanan and Hera. It didnt get room to be expressed and explore due to constant battles but they have the most chemistry and love of any other couple.
Bendu to Thrawn: “I see your defeat, like many arms surrounding you in a cold embrace”
The end of this animation will be recreated in live action, it's pretty awesome
Ahsoka reactions gonnna beeee crazyyy!!!!!
He needs Ezra to walk in of his own free will .
15:18 REAL, 100% agree with Micky lol, still haven't seen the third sequel movie
Imagine we had to wait for years for any continuation, while not fully knowing if it would ever come at all
Rebels is one of my favorite shows ever❤️ can't wait for Ahsoka!!!
I just want to say that I love Mickey's reactions. Those idiots messing with him are jack asses.
Love all of your reactions! When whale mentioned at first time, tears fall down from my eyes because I suddenly remember what happened in the end. With this you can go to other series like Ashoka without worries. :D
Wait are they doing Ahsoka next??? pls 😭
Yeah I know I over did it with the writing but that what happens when you become attached to these characters. now if you excuse me I'm gonna go blow my nose from writing.
Thank you for reading my message again and for being part of this long ride of this journey. 😊
May the force be with you and let it guide your heart wherever your go and find the peace within it.

You can actually see Rex in Return of the Jedi now that it's been retconned. When they're taking the bunker, he's the old man with the white beard and I even saw a shot of him dressed up in stormtrooper armor under arrest.
That was a fun thing. A fan happened to notice that a background actor in Return of the Jedi looked very much like Rex, so Filoni put Rex into the ROTJ camo battle gear to look like that character. He's never claimed that really is Rex...but he played along with the fan theory.
